Or Character?
Mine is Nightwatch. It was the first one I ever read and is like an old friend to me, very dog-eared and well loved. With Sir Samuel and Death as my most loved characters.
I still have loads to get through aswell.....only got about 29 books so far!

The Truth (printing press), is good, but the one about the pryamids..book number 7 was a personal best.

Young Pteppic (teppic) has been in training at the Assassins Guild in Ankh-Morpork for several years. The day after passing his final exam he somehow senses that his father has died and that he must return home.

Pteppic is forced to escape from the palace, along with a handmaiden named Ptraci (pronounced Traci). Meanwhile, the massive pyramid being built for Pteppic's father warps space time so much that it "rotates" Djelebeybi out of alignment with the space/time of the rest of the disc by 90 degrees.

I just love the fact that his dead ancestors help him to restore time, and the two countries who decide to go to war with each other when Djelibeybi disapears and they become neighbours... And the camel named You Ba-stard

Nightwatch is one of my favourites too! I also love any of the books with the witches in - Granny Weatherwax, Death and Foul Ole Ron are my most favourite characters. Keep reading! I have all his books - all well read. His new Discworld book Making Money is out on 24th September x

SMALL GODS

This was the first one I read. One of the main reasons I like it is because it doesn't demand that you read all the others, since Omnia plays very little role in any of the other books (btw I haven't read the most recent ones). I love the story and the characters.

Can never choose just ONE! :)

Reaper Man

Lords and Ladies

Thief of Time

Hogfather

Science of Discworld I, II & III

I love Death, thoroughly enjoy Susan and their interaction. Granny Weatherwax and her side-kick Nanny Ogg are absolutely great and I just love the wizards at UU! They remind so much of the academic world I'm in, always bickering etc. Adore them!

29??? you're only 1 third of the way through.............that may be a SLIGHT exaggeration..........

I really can't say a favourite book, my favourite character without doubt is Nanny Ogg. I love how she (in Witches Abroad) starts spelling bananananana but doesn't know where to stop!

My goodness, I don't know. I recently re-read the whole series, and they sort of blended into one... I am fond of Equal Rites though. I think it's high time we saw Eskarina again.
