Try his New Crobuzon series (there are a series in that they are set in the same world)
Perdido Street Station

Iron Council
Patricia Anthony is an under the radar writer
Brother Termite
Cold Allies
Conscience of the Beagle
Try "Dhlgren" by Samuel Delany (which is possibly the most bizarre and complicated Sci-Fi novel of all time) or the novels of Octavia Butler.
William Gibson? If not (although you probably have) any of his would fit the bill.
Harlan Ellison has some wonderful short stories they have been collected in dozens of collections. They tend to go in and out of print so it might take some looking to find them.

Personally I am into cyberpunk. Spook Country by William Gibson was good, but not as good as Neuromancer - the bible of cyberpunk novels. Pax-C
