Is my plan good? I have a BS in Lib Studies from a very small college and so I need back up. I have done a couple of internships in NY for different fields, Volunteer work in India, have a successful running website and plan to write a book(its a very good topic, not related to business but I am hoping to get it published) I hope to then use all this to get into a top MBA program. After an MBA, I want to be either an editor or a publisher and a social activist on the side.
What do you think of my plan? Is it insane or do you think I could do it?

I have to agree with the other answerer in that I really don't know how an MBA will help you reach your goal. If you are looking to get a degree that is directly related to your chosen field go with a degree in English, Comparative LIterature or another humanities field that has coursework heavily weighted towards independent research and writing. An MBA might be helpful if you were interested in being CFO or COO of a publishing company, but not really if you want to be an editor. If you really think you want some additional background in business as well then do a post-grad certificate or something similar.
