The princess diaries but I think you've read them, meg cabot writes lots of romance, but the princess diaries is unputdownable and good. Um, Joyride, Daughter of Venice, The curious incident of the dog in the night-time, lots of love from Georgia...vampires...true blood? Or interview with the vampire.

Also I've heard that the tomorrow series by john marsden are great, but I've only read an exccerpt, thoroughly about teens and love and etc. The first book is called Tomorrow When The War Began.

The Princess Bride by William Goldman. When a beautiful girl is kidnapped for a forced marriage, her long-abused groom recruits some unlikely allies and goes to her rescue. A very funny, warm and friendly little story.

The Black Stallion by Walter Farley. A boy lives through a terrifying ship-wreck, only to find that he is alone on an island with a magnificent black horse, who's descended from champions.

National Velvet by Enid Bagnold. A young girl wins a colt in a lottery, and, with a vagabond horse trainer, decides to enter and ride him in England's Grand National race! Based on a true story.

Dracula by Bram Stoker. The grand daddy of all vampire stories, this classic still can thrill and frighten! The Count goes to London, and Van Helsing fights him.

The Crystal Cave by Mary Stewart. During the Dark Ages, a young royal bastard begins to exhibit magical powers and strange prophesies about a future king named ... Arthur.

The dark is rising -- Susan Cooper. Awesome Arthurian fantasy with Merlin set in the 80s.

Silent Stones -- Diana Cooper. Spiritual adventure drama featuring machu pichu and stonehenge

Way of the peaceful warrior -- Dan Millman.

If you love horses you've probably read Black Beauty, but if not, it's really good

Have you read Harry Potter?

Roald Dahl's short stories

What I like to do is look up interviews with authors that I like, and usually the interviewer will ask what books they like to read and then I go and get them.

Also, Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit are really good, The Odyssey by Homer, Roots by Alex Haley.

The House of Night series by P.C Cast and Kristen Cast is an absolutely amazing series about vampires, and it has romance in. It's much better than Twilight, but still, if you liked Twilight, you'll definately love these.

oh also z for zachariah is a good book, but don't read the plot up bcus they tell you the twists in it and the ending. Basically post apocalyptic theme, teenage girl and man, about how they survive. Not my kinda book but i enjoyed it ( class project ).

Shades Children - written by Garth Nix... one of the best books ive ever read. Its a futuristic fantasy (if you want to know the genre). A nice easy read too, if you want something a bit more complicated then maybe Mortal Engines by Phillip Reeve, that's also a fantasy.

You should read vampire kisses novel series by Ellen Schreiber. It's not like Twilight, it a lot more better.

Here's the plot of first book (Vampire kisses):

In her small town dubbed "Dullsville," sixteen-year-old Raven—a vampire-crazed, goth-girl—is an outcast. But not for long...

The intriguing and rumored-to-be haunted mansion on top of Benson Hill has stood vacant and boarded-up for years. That is, until its mysteriously strange new occupants move in. Who are these creepy people—especially the handsome, dark and elusive Alexander Sterling? Or rather, what are they? Could the town prattle actually ring true? Are they vampires? Raven, who secretly covets a vampire kiss, both at risk of her own mortality and Alexander's loving trust, is dying to uncover the truth.

Plot of the second book (Vampire kisses: Kissing Coffins):

Life in “Dullsville” has become far from dull for goth-girl Raven. After meeting Alexander Sterling—a night-thriving, shadow knight, her dark world suddenly has a bright glow. But as in her favorite movie, Kissing Coffins, Raven knows that love always has its complications. And Alexander has a secret; a secret she must quietly guard. When he mysteriously disappears, Raven finds herself on a dangerous chase to find him and meets the expecting Jagger. Could he be a vampire,Alexander's best friend? What she encounters is more terrifying than she could have imagined—including a life-transforming decision she may not be ready to sink her teeth into. Ellen Schreiber presents a chilling and suspenseful sequel to her popular tale of an unusual teen romance, Vampire Kisses.

Plot of the third book (Vampire Kisses III: Vampire ville):

For goth-girl Raven, dating her dream boyfriend is complicated, especially as Alexander's secret means that they can only see each other at night. And now the pair must be extra wary in the dark with Alexander's arch-rival Jagger appearing around town. As if Jagger isn't enough cause for worry, Luna, his strikingly pale sister has also surfaced, and seems to have her sights set on Raven's own longtime nemesis, Trevor. Together, Raven and Alexander must begin a terrifying search for Jagger and Luna's hideout to drive them away. That is, if it's not already too late to save Dullsville from permanently becoming Vampireville.

Plot of Vampire Kisses IV: Dance with a Vampire:

There’s a new vampire in Dullsville: Jagger and Luna's 11 year old brother Valentine. Right when things were getting back to normal or as normal as things were with Raven and her immortal boyfriend. Could Valentine somehow know Raven’s innermost feelings about becoming immortal and for her true love, Alexander? Could he know Alexander's innermost desire to turn Raven? Valentine comes to Dullsville with his frightening ability to 'blood read'. The far-from-ordinary romance of these two teen outsiders takes another surprise-filled spin in the fourth book of Ellen Schreiber’s applauded Vampire Kisses series.

Plot of Vampire Kisses V: The Coffin Club:

It's tough for love-struck Raven to imagine what's keeping her nocturnal boyfriend from returning to Dullsville. So there's only one thing to do, find Alexander. Along the way, Raven can't resist the spot where she feels most at home, The Coffin Club. But when she stumbles upon a secret door in the club, she descends into a dim catacomb to a hidden hang-out where the house-drink happens to be Type A or B. Drawn to one of its shadowy members, Phoenix, Raven suspects she's in over her head. But exploring the covert club is too tempting, even after coming face-to-face with Alexander's trouble-stirring enemy. But will Raven be surprised when she discovers Phoenix's true identity?

Plot of Vampire Kisses VI: Royal Blood:

Summer break is over, and Raven is hardly eager to be returning to Dullsville High. Not only does school mean daily interaction with preppy pest Trevor Mitchell, but her sleep-filled days and romantic nights with her immortal boyfriend, Alexander, must come to an end. Plus the shock of morning classes isn't the only change in store. An unexpected letter turns up at Alexander's mansion-announcing his parents will be coming to town. And once they arrive, it seems just about everyone has had a sighting of the macabre couple except Raven.

What could be delaying Alexander from introducing Raven to them? His strange distance leads Raven to think he must be hiding something about his parents' homecoming.

When Raven is finally invited to the most thrilling and fear- provoking dinner party of her life, the next turn of events could transform her entire future with Alexander. The sixth book in Ellen Schreiber juicy Vampire Kisses series takes an unusual twist in the continuing romance of Raven and Alexander.
