Alright so be warned this is your final chance, there will be spoilers.

My first question
Why is it that Harry was able to come back from ding so easily? He died but was able to return to his body just by like jumping down to Earth or something.
2nd Question
Did I totally misssomething or was it skipped over, but HOW did Neville get the sword of Gryffindor after it had been stolen far away from Hogwart's at GRINGOTT'S?

What was up with that ring that turned Dumbledore's hand black, I am pretty sure it was a Hocrux that cursed him and was going to spread and kill him, but I was tired while reading that part and it jumbled me.

I also would like to know about a few of the Characters because I forgot how they got into the series in the first place, it's been a while since I read the half blood prince and the other books. the chaacters are

Fleur, Tonks, Percy (where'd he go again? and why were his parents mad at him?), Mundungus, Mad-Eye (i know he was a former teacher of DAtDA).

You definitely made the most of the 5 points that would be deducted to you by asking a question! This is quite a tall order!

You're the nth person to have asked the first 2 questions, but I'd answer them nonetheless.

Harry was given the choice to either "go on" or go back because his decision to sacrifice himself to save others made all the difference in dying and living. He was able to conquer death by not being afraid to die. Voldemort only killed his own bit of soul that was unintentionally put into Harry.

Neville got the Sword of Gryffindor because he displayed bravery and daringness. Griphook's claim that Godric stole the Sword for Ragnook was not true. Gryffindor is the true owner of the Sword (and the Sorting Hat, too) and since he's considered a great wizard of the age, he would have put advanced magic and enchantments on the Sword that goes beyond whatever Goblins' idea of ownership is or mere physical possession of it. It was just like when Harry was able to pull it out of the Sorting Hat, it was securely hung at Dumbledore's office, yet it was there when he needed it.

Voldemort performed Dark Magic on Peverell's ring, just like he did with the locket. Dumbledore, on his desire to see his parents and sister, put on the ring, forgetting that it was already a Horcrux and thus, would be cursed. Snape was able to contain the poision on his one hand (that's why it's blackened) and control the spread of the poision for the time being.

Fleur was the Beauxbaton champion during the Triwizard Tournament. She and Bill met at Hogwarts by then end of the book, decided to work at Gringotts to improve her "eenglish" and Bill became her "tutor".

Tonks was an Auror who was introduced in the Order of the Phoenix. She was one of Harry's guards when they rescued him at Privet Drive to the Order's Headquarters. In book 6, she was in love with Lupin who didn't want to pursue any relationship with her because of his condition. She is a niece of Bellatrix and Narcissa (her mother Andromeda was their sister)

Percy the big-time-careerist-prat had a falling out with his family in book 5 when he decided not to believe Harry and Dumbledore (and disowned his family for doing so) and instead put his loyalty to Fudge and the Ministry.

Mundungus Fletcher was a low-life petty criminal, who was a member of the Order of the Phoenix. It was because of him that Harry and Dudley were attacked by the Dementors. He left his post as Harry's guard to look into cheap cauldrons he could buy then resell.

Mad-Eye (Alastor Moody) was a brilliant and very skilled Auror, and member of the Order of the Phoenix. The real Mad-Eye did not become DADA professor, it was Barty Crouch Jr impersonating Moody.

Hope this helps.

Harry didn't actually die. Rowling stated several times throughout the series that no-one could come back from the other side. He was able to avoid dying because he "possesed" all three of the deathly hollows (the invisibility Cloak, the stone (part of the ring that came out of the snitch, and he was the master of the elder wand)

For the sword and Neville, remember in Chamber of Secrets how it appeared in the hat for Harry when he desparately needed it? Same thing happened here after Voldemort put the hat on Neville.

You are correct about Dumbledore's hand, the Horcrux or the stone in it was cursed

Fleur - first seen in Goblet of Fire as one of the competitors in the Triwizard Tournament. In Order of Phoenix she was part of the order.

Tonks, another of the order. Related to Sirius and Bellatrix

Percy - Middle child of the Weasly's formerly head boy at Hogworts, statrted working for the Minister of Magic. Put work ahead of his family & believed ministry over them (that (both reasons) is why they were upset)

Mundungus - another of the Order, also known to be a theif

Mad-eye Moody - famous auror, and member of the Order. Barty Crouch impersonated him vie polyjuice potion in Goblet of fire (so technically he (Mad-eye) never actually taught at Hogwarts (Barty captured him just before the school year started)). Most famous line - "Constant vigilance!!" Many wanted him dead, so ever since he appears in Goblet of Fire, he seemed kind of paranoid.

The whole death thing is a little complicated. But basically Rowling needed a way to kill Harry to satisfy the people who thought he needed to die and yet still keep him alive. But because he was willing to sacrifice himself and went to death knowing he was going to die, he didn't die. Also, Voldermort's wand wasn't working properly because Harry was technically the owner of the wand, so it wouldn't kill him.

The sword came from the Sorting Hat just like in the second book. I had to reread that as well and finally someone just explained it to me.

The ring was cursed and was a Horcrux and also had a Hallow in it (I think). I think it was the combination of the three.

Fleur - appears in the fourth book as a competitor in the Triwizard Tournament, but marries Bill Weasley.

Tonks - an Auror and member of the Order of the Phoenix. Just appears in the fifth book - though she's related to Bellatrix and Sirius

Percy - took sides with the Ministry and because the rest of the Weasleys sided with Dumbledore they were at odds. Percy was also a prat about Dumbledore.

Mundungus - He's a member of the Order...he's first mentioned in the first book in the very beginning, but doesn't actually appear until the fifth book.

Mad-Eye - appears in the fourth book and is the DatDA teacher (or is supposed to be). He was in the original Order and was an Auror.

Whew I have to catch my breath after reading this question...

1. Harry did not really "die", the horcrux in him was destroyed.

2. The sword will come to the aide of any worthy Griffindor in need.

3. You're right the ring did curse Dumbledore.

4. Fleur- was one of the Tri-Wizard champions from the 4th book, she fell in love with Bill Weasley.

Tonks- was part of Order of the Phoenix in the 5th book, remember she was part of Harry's guard when they left the Dursley's.

Percy- turned his back on his family and was loyal to the ministry, he was so intent on being successful that he turned a blind eye to what was really going on, until the end when he came back.

Mundungus- was a part of the Order of the Phoenix, he was their link to all of the underground activity, because he was a criminal by trade.

Mad-Eye- was a part of the original Order of the Phoenix, and an ex-Auror.

You really should have read some of the previous questions on these very same issues.

ok harry was protected by the Elder wand..here's the story:

the wand will always have a master. in order for the wand to be your master, you must defeat it's previous master. so:

before Dumbledore died, draco disarmed him...so draco was really the wand's master. HOWEVER, D was buried with it, so no one knew that Draco should have been the wand's master.

THEN, at the malfoy's house, HP disarmed Draco, making HP the true master of the wand.

SO, the wand would not destroy it's master (also why Cruciatus curse didn't hurt HP).

that's why he didn't die. he was just kind of "thinking".

neville got the sword from the sorting hat. it was on his head burning him and he needed the sword to kill the snake and the hat brought it to him. remember when HP needed the sword in the Chamber of secrets?? the sorting hat revealed it to him.

the ring was very evil and contained many deep curses. it wasn't explained in detail, you just knew that it was a big baddie of a ring and was cursed and D tried it on...temptation...and it started to kill him. snape prevented it momentarily, but it was like cancer...eventually, it would have killed him. knowing this, D set his whole plan into motion. that's why snape wasn't the wand's master...he didn't defeat D, he simply acted on his wishes.

Fleur-came around in the triwizard tournament. met bill W and fell in love.

Tonks-member of the order of the pheonix and related to the malfoys and bellatrix lestrange, but her and her family are good people....

percy-he got power hungry and kind of separated from his family. things were tense at the ministry between him and his dad. mainly just family stuff. he was being a stupid kid.

mundungus-has appeared as a minor chatacter here and there....not too important.

mad-eye-famous auror (police officer) and momber of Order

hope this all helps!

Harry came back from dying so easy because he wasn't really dead just the part of his soul that was attached to voldermort died.

Neville got the sword of Gryyindor because it came out of the sorting hat

The ring that turned Dumbledores hand back was a Horcrux but dumbledore touched it because it was one of the deathly hallows. Dumbledore touched it because it was the resurrection stone and he wanted his sister and parents to come back from the dead very badly.

Fleur was in the fourth book she was from one of the schools that participated in the tri-wizard tournament. Tonks im not really sure how she turns out but shes in the Order of the Phoenix and im pretty sure thats how they meet. And in the fifth and sixth books Percy gets mad at his parents because they believe Voldermort returned to power and Percy working for the ministry won't allow them to think that. Mad-eye was a DATDA teacher and he's in the order of the Phoenix. Mundungus is also in the order and he lived across from Harry when he lived with his aunt and uncle.

You really should have re-read the previous before the new one it seems like you didn't get the full story because you forgot everything

1. <>

Harry didn't die. Dumbledore explains this quite well, actually, but you had to really read the entire speech to understand this fact. Part of harry died, because he was the last horcrux, "the one Voldemort didn't intend to make". And finally, at the end of his conversation with dumbledore, he asks if everything that had just happened was only in his head. Dumbledore tells him "Yes, but who's to say that doesn't make it real?" Really, he was just unconscious and having a very vivid dream.

2. ...I don't remember that, you'll have to go back and reread, but however it happened, it was really cool. I remember that much.

3. The ring of Marvolo was infact a horcrux. This is explained in the end of the sixth book, I believe. However, Voldemort <>

Voldemort cursed the ring so that anyone who chose to wear it or destroyed the horcrux would have a deadly hex placed on them. In the pensieve with snape this is all explained quite nicely.

4. Fluer: Student at Beauxbatons academy who participated in the triwizard tournament, book four.

Tonks: Auror in charge of guarding harry. Metamorphamagous, member of the Order. Book Five.

Percy: Weasley son who sided with Fudge that Voldie did not come back when the rest of the family believed that he had. Caused rift in family, and percy no longer really visited. Book Four.

Mundungus Fletcher: Member of the order who was good at pawning things. Got into trouble with some goblins. Book Five.

Mad-Eye Moody: One of the most famous aurors of the wizarding world. Was pulled out of retirement to teach DADA, but before he left for the job, he was attacked by Crouch's son, who assumed the role of Mad-eye and was in charge of "fixing" the triwizard tournament so he could deliver harry to voldemort. Book Four.

1) when voldemort attacked harry, he killed the horcrux in harry. so HARRY wasnt killed- the horcurx was

2) That wasn' t the real sword. besides the sorting hat knows everything......

3) when he put on the ring he got cursed, so he was going to die in a few months. However, snape had to kill him to stay on the Dark side as spy. Therefore, it didnt matter if snape killed him cuz he wuz gonna die anywayz

4) Fleur came in the 4th book, the Triwizard Competition. She came from Beauxbauton and was chosen. Tonks came in the 5th book when they came to rescue harry, like with lupin and kingsley etc. (when harry first sees the grimmauld place) Percy worked for the ministry, and wuz against dumbledore and harry, so his parents were mad at him and cuz hee wuz being rude to them. He came in the first, when u see the weasleys going onto platform 9 3/4. Mundungus comes in the 6th when he wuz supposed to be watching harry (mrs figg YELLS at him!!!) Mad eye wuznt really a teacher! that wuz the guy impersonating him. we really see him when dumbledore catches the person pretending to be mad eye rite before he kills harry. I hope u got all u need!

The reason Harry came back (I think) is because only the part of him that was a Horcrux truly died. Don't forget that his mother's protection, while diminished when Lord V used his blood to bring himself back, never really went away.

As for Neville.....recall that a true Gryffindor can pull the sword out of the hat if he asks for help. That's what Neville did, because despite Griphook's opinions on the nature of ownership, the sword belonged to Godric and as such it comes to aid of any Gryffindor who asks.

As for the rest, reread when you're feeling more awake.

1) Harry was able to return back to earth as his blood in voldemort anchored him to Earth. I guess it's something like not all of him died, so he managed to come back.

2) That's something I noticed too..Maybe when the sword realised it was not in the hand of a true Gryffindor,it vanished and went back to the sorting hat, ready to be at the aid of another gryffindor.

3) The ring is one of the horcrux and deathly hallows-a stone which can bring back the dead.

4)Fleur appeared in goblet of fire, as a triwizard champion.Tonks came in order of phoneix, to bring harry to grimmauld place. Percy's parents were angry with him as he trusted the ministry over his family.

Harry accepted his death and then got killed by voldemort. this is the reason why he is able to come back easily, as if he never died.

I don't know the answer to the second question!

The ring contains the resurrection stone, one of the deathly hallows...it was made a horcrux. I guess it is in the nature of a horcrux to defend itself and make itself impenetratable..thus when Dumbledore tried to destroy it, he ended up with that blackened hand.

Fleur is first seen in the 4th book, Harry Potter and the goblet of fire. she is one of the paricipants of the triwizard tournament. then she meets bill, ron's brother and they fall in love and they decide to marry(which they do!)

Tonks(nymphadora tonks), is a member of the order. she can change her appearance and she is also an auror. she then marries lupin. nymphadora's mum was i guess once on the black family tree but then the name got erased as her mom married a muggle.

Percy's parents are angry with him as he goes against them and joins the ministry. he leaves house and roams with the minister of magic.

Mundungus is a gy who steals stuff, or rather nicks stuff and sells them in black.

Mad-eye is an extremely powerful auror and yea..'he' was appointed the teacher of DATDA.

1 he could come back, bc when voldemort came back, he used some of harry's blood, so voldemort was kinda like a horocrux.

2 i dont remember that

3 it was a horocrux and it cursed dumbledore. snape was able to hold up the curse for then, but he told dumbledore that he would only have a year to live, bc of the curse. thats why dumbledore had snape kill him.

4 fleur-she was first in golblet of fire, and then she and bill fell in love, and thats why they got married.

tonks-she came in in order of the pheonix as one of harrys gaurds. shes and arorour and sirius's cousin

percy-he was stupid and bcame obbsessed with his power so he said that the weasleys werent his faimly bc they supported harry. like fred said, he was 'a pompus ministry-loving prat' or hawever he worded it.

mundungus-came in in the 5th one and was supposed to b watching harry. he does alot of black market stuff.

msd-eye-came in in the 4th one, and was kept in a box for thet whole school year by crouch. he was an arorour and protected harry.

on those first 3 questions, i would just go back and reread those chapters, ac u learn so much in them. thats what i did.
