Ok... If you are talking about a yahoo user name or profile see number 1. If you are talking about your yahoo answers name that you want to change, go to number 2.



1) If you are reading this, you are probably logged into your yahoo account. at the top of the page next to "sign out" there should be a link that says, "my account." Click on that and enter your password. That will bring you to your "my account" page. There will be a column on the right that says, "public information." Click on "edit/create profiles" On the page that comes up you will see the list of names that you created: Your Yahoo ID will be on the top, you cannot delete this... just don't log into the account and it will deactivate itself. You can delete any "profile" that you created. If you delete those they should be erased from messenger or any other yahoo application like games or chat. You can also make one a default, so that if you go into a game room you will appear as that name unless you choose another one.



2) If you want to change your name that shows up here in yahoo answers, go to the link that says, "My Q&A" under the ask/answer/discover header and to the right of your name and points and level. From there, click on "edit my profile" and that will bring you to a page that lets you change your name or choose any yahoo profile or ID that you want to identify you next to any question/answer you give on yahoo answers.
