I want to see less highschool human and broody vampire books. It seems like every book I see in the teens section of Barnes and Noble is about a highschool girl and a centuries old vampire!

Also another thing I want to see less of, bad *** vampires, or any bad *** creature, turn good because the author "felt like it". Seriously, if they are "bad ***" then they don't turn good all of a sudden! There has to be good reason, not just because he fell inlove on first sight.

I would like to see more horror. Actual supernatural writing. With the horror of what the supernatural actually are. The action. The blood and gore. The good the bad and the ugly of the supernatural world and how they affect humans.

I'm tired of all the romance in books that should be dark and scary. Sure a book should have romance, but it has to be Real. Not just because the author wishes it.

I would like to see supernatural fiction being treated like an artform, just like all fiction. It's been treated as a way of selling a million copies of a poorly-written book. So what I would like to see is less Mary Sue characters, better descriptions, more original plots, and a profound understanding of what supernatural writing is all about.

I agree with you: less vampire/human teenage girl romances would be nice. The market is all about it right now, though. I hope that it will change eventually. :)

I would love to see a more proactive female character...Lately all the supernatural fiction books are about girls who surely must suffer severe bruising from the number of times they end up throwing themselves into the arms of the superhero in question.

Not to be pointing fingers at any book in particular but....I would also love to see a certain drab girl from a rainy town in Pennsylvania pound a wooden stake into the chest of a overprotective stalker vampire with minty breath.

I would like vampire stories to get a grip and be more graphic. Show the death and horror of vamps but also how strong they are and ready to protect what is theirs

I want to see more Greek creatures in stories. I'm tired of the same supernatural. Surprise me with something!

Less vampire/werewolf/human crap it's been over-done and now the whole thing is getting annoying. I would like to see less cliche plots. Plots seem to be getting more and more cliche and quite frankly it's boring me.
