Need help with an idea for a short short story?

We have an assignment to my English/ Writing class, where we have to write a short short story, by getting inspired by the word "Destiny" I know this is such a broad subject, but I'm drawing a blank! Can anybody help me with an idea? Or something to spark my imagination? Thanks to anyone who answers!

I once did a short story about somebody whos destiny was changed when they were visited by their idol ( you can change this to an ancestor or celbrity or even a stranger.)

Dreams are great ways to start off short stories and once you start off with a dream, there are so many different ways your story can take off

You can also try chosing an object to base your story on such as a plant, a knife or maybe even a certain place like a cave or something.

Just try watching television and usually u can find a good object or setting to base your story on.
