I badly want to read the Samurai Girl book 5, the book of the flame. It's proving real hard to find it in a nearby bookshop and so I've been browsing for a long time to get it online. Is there any safe website that offers free ebooks?

The Gutenberg Project has tens of thousands of books available for free download in pdf

http://www.gutenberg.org/wiki/main_page....

If, by chance, there is something you can't find there... then one of my English professors gave me this site, which is basically the same thing and was put together by the University of Pennsylvania:

http://onlinebooks.library.upenn.edu/lis...

All copyrighted material is illegal to download. Here are some sites that have non-copywrited material for reading:

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/bro...

http://etext.lib.virginia.edu/ebooks/......

http://www.thefreelibrary.com/

http://www.baen.com/library/

http://www.ebooks3.com/

http://www.free-ebooks.net/

http://e-library.net/free-ebook.htm...

http://truly-free.org/

http://www.hismercy.ca/content/hm_ebooks...

http://www.bookyards.com/

http://www.redbirdstudio.com/e_books/......

http://www.free-online-novels.com/......

http://www.getfreeebooks.com/

http://www.questia.com/index.jsp...

http://www.bibliomania.com/1/frameset.ht...

http://www.starry.com/novel/authors.htm....

http://www.bygosh.com/features.htm......

http://www.bygosh.com/thebestnovels.htm....

http://www.bookspot.com/ask/

http://www.bookspot.com/

But I would try the Gutenberg Project first. I think their collection is more extensive.

I own the copyright to "The dBASE Language Handbook." Sorry I'm probably six years too late in answering your question. There is currently no ebook version. I have some very old files, and if someone has enough interest, I might be able to find a way to extract them into a modern PDF. Dave Kalman

Even do not try to download for free the copyrighted books, and especially on NeoPopRealist art, because you will get virus. No one will give you anything for free. There is the catch, those websites want infect your computer with virus, and you will not know anything about it. All those AVG and Norton, regular protection won't help. Because those people are professional in the stealing identity. Better to spend

$100 for a print book than be hooked by professional identity thieves. I know people who have got into the big problems after they downloaded some books... for "free".

I'm making good profit with a binary option signal software called "autobinary signal". It's great!!

Check here for more information http://trading-secret.keysolve.net

A binary option is a contract between two parties in which one party (the buyer) pays the other party (the seller) and in return the seller will pay the buyer a fixed amount of money (or some other asset) if a specified event happens. The event can be anything, but with financial products it is usually based on the price of some security or index at some point in time in the future.

As the author of Norse Code, I appreciate those who answered that my book is copyrighted and that downloading it for free would be theft. It's available legally at most online retailers, and if it's not on the shelves of your local brick and mortar, they can order it. It's also available for free from libraries.

I write for a living. It's how I pay my bills. So I really do appreciate it when people obtain my books legally. Thank you.

Have you tried going to your local library? If they don't have a copy they can usually acquire one for you via an inter-library loan. It may take a bit of time but it's the best way to go. Ebooks in general are not free so most, if not all copies you find will be illegal ones.

While it's true that some t.v. programs are better at informing and portraying than catalogs, catalogs in themselves are an escape. I would have a e book over t individually.v.

You can't get it free but you can get it inexpensive. Anything after 1922 is under copyright so unless the author wants to give it away for free, it is theft.

If the book is protected by copyright, any "free", unauthorized copy will be an illegal copy. Try this: http://www.diesel-ebooks.com/cgi-bin/category.cgi?category=search&template=search&templatehead=&templatebody=&templatefoot=&match=fulltext&limitcategory=&type=store&searchtype=and&searchfields=brand%7Cmodel%7Ckeywords%7Cmisc11&query=samurai+girl
