Romance: Nicholas Sparks books.

My mom read the Da Vinci Code. Said it was good. Give it a try.

Angels and Demons?

Idk what else. I'm still captivated by young adult novels. :)

It might help if we knew some things about your mental style.

What books do you like to read?

What TV shows do you watch? Because a sitcom may suggest a more humorous bent, a political show may suggest more in the way of history or biographies, and a drama may suggest mysteries or something like that.

What's your favorite movie?

Personally, my favorite authors are Homer, Alexandre Dumas, and Mario Puzo.

I really liked the Iliad (Homer), The Count of Monte Cristo and The Three Musketeers (Dumas), and The Godfather and The 4th K (Puzo).

If you want to ease into an adult book situation, I would personally suggest The 4th K. It is the story of a fictional President Francis Kennedy, and how he deals with a terrorist threat involving the Pope and his own daughter. At the same time, he must also deal with a home-grown terror plot and multiple assassination attempts.

It is a fast moving story with lots of political intrigue, yet it is easy to understand and keep up with everything that is going on.

I have never read The Da Vinci Code because I think it is more for adults, but I heard it was a good novel. If you are interested in more mature writing I will suggest novels I have read. You could try out Jane Austen Novels.

I really liked the Da Vinci Code...but I would also reccomend one of my favorite authors, Greggory Maguire.

He worte the book Wicked...that the broadway musical is based on, but I also love his book Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister. More about this title...Beautifully plays on the beloved tale of Cinderella. In this remarkable version we are taken to Amsterdam, where two impoverished sisters and their widowed mother are taken in by a Flemish painter, and the startling events that follow.

Yes i would reccommend The Da Vinci Code, and Angels and Demons. It was a good read and easy to follow. And the mystery of the book, as well as the secrets are very intriguing.

If you are turning to the adult section, i would also recommend books by Matthew Reilly. His books are full of fast paced action and im sure it will be good quality entertainment. - Ice station, Area 7, Scarecrow, Hell Island.

Books by Jodi Picoult are un- put - downable. They are full of emotions and are good to read.

Hope this helps.

i think DA VINCI CODE is really good, except for the religion stuff..

i`m very religious and i got really mad about the ``facts`` they have in it... even if it does say they`re are based on real ``facts``

it`s a real slap in the face...
