Any and all help appreciated.

Hello to all,

I am a single father, raising my daughter on my own for several years since the passing of her mother. Of course I am no different than many others in this similar situation, “trying to make ends meet”. America is certainly the land of “opportunity, innovation and fresh ideas” and now amid a terrible economy to slug our way through, we are all now having to find the new trends, new directions and new beginnings. For some, with plenty of capitol under their belts, the times are not so bad. But, for the rest of us it is constant uneasiness and fear of whether things are going to get better soon or worse? I am tired of watching ordinary Americans, myself included, experience the economic highs and lows that make our lives so unstable and unpredictable! I for one have worked dam hard throughout my life only to watch someones relative or an incompetent boob advance on by me. Of course that is not true in all cases, but it is true enough to where we notice it. Don’t get me wrong, there are people with success that are deserving of the life they have built, but where I see flaws in our society today is the lack of true opportunities being given back to others that are deserving and have worked hard, so that in-turn those folks can give back to others. For so many of us ordinary, hardworking Americans who try to create better lives for ourselves we find the road blocks put up in our way by Corp Execs, Financial Institutions and Government.

So you are probably saying “that’s true, but what’s your point”. Well, here it is… I have seen for years the most worthless people climb the “corporate ladder” while hard working people (like myself) slug my guts out and rarely get ahead or have anything long term or invested to show for it. It’s time for all of us out there who can relate to this to “have our cake and eat it too”! I respectfully ask all that read this and can relate or understand to help me in any way large or small. I am tired of working for others that just don’t “give back” to those that deserve it, really deserve it! So I am starting a movement of sorts which I am calling “true opportunities”. I am looking to start my own business and I need your help. I want to build a business to create independence for myself and in turn give back to others by creating jobs and opportunities to hard working Americans that usually don’t get “true opportunities”. I want to help real-hard working Americans find the success and security they deserve. NO! I am not trying to sell some “get rich quick” scheme or some elaborate scam. My vision is to create a multiple of businesses that true give opportunities to hard working people, without any prerequisites or conditions to meet. I am looking to build a network of business’ that span as many fields as possible and with this be able to open doors for people to careers they truly will love doing and be happy with. Of course we all would love to do things that maybe we are just not capable of doing but that does not mean we cannot still find something within our interests that we could love doing and be happy at and enjoy! Also, who’s to say we can’t change our minds from time to time? Well all that would certainly be a part of my network, in which one could apply for re-education towards a different career path and financial help would be granted as well as the career when the re-education period has ended.

I know that one person can most likely NOT help everyone, but maybe my efforts and the example I will set will help others follow in my footsteps and create a chain reaction throughout the business world. I simply believe that there is not enough being done today, in our society, to offer true opportunities to good hardworking people. I believe business’ can and should afford to give back to its employees like they used to do, with insurance, promotions from within, continuing education, retirement. All these things are for sure, “investments into your employees”. Their happiness and security is essential for a great and productive work environment and the more a company invests into its employees, the more a business will grow. In my opinion, I feel the biggest problem with many companies today is that they do the opposite of what I have just stated and in effect handicap their own ability to grow! So without further ado…I would like to ask for any and all support in realizing the dream I have set forth in this letter. I of course need money to start up my campaign. I respectfully ask for help in this regard from anyone out there who has read this, believes this, understands this and can relate to what I have said!

My name is John, my campaign is “True Opportunities”. As a product of this campaign every business I create from these efforts will bear the trade mark logo “TRUE OPPORTUNITIES” in its name for all to recognize and appreciate. For all that feel as I do, please send any donation $ you can afford to John @ P.O. Box 308 Addison, Illinois 60101. Every little bit helps and helps me to get started in this dream.

I'm not really sure I understand your position. It is simply not in a companies best interest to promote people who are not hard working over those who are hard working.

I understand office politics, and I know d*****bags who don't deserve it get promoted all the time. However your post ( and it is a post, violating the TOS and not an actual question) makes it seem as though this is the rule and not the exception, and that simply isn't true.

While I myself have seen people get promoted who didn't deserve it, seen hiring from outside rather than promoting from within... the better companies don't do this.

Anyway, your problem isn't just in business/employment, it's in the simple fact that human beings are very primitive creatures. Jealous and selfish individuals corrupt every single aspect of our society, they always have and they always will.

There will always be rude cashiers, poor customer service, dangerous drivers on the road, incompetent doctors, etc

Humans are weak and flawed and selfish. Of course there are exceptions.

As a matter of fact I'm sure 90% of people reading your post will assume you're a scam artist of some sort.

If you're sincere, I wish you all the best.

I only asked a question similar to this concerning the vh1 'i admire..." shows. I by no potential knew Parental administration substitute into fake! i assume i'm naive. I only assume persons are truthful and have faith something. LOL i'm commencing as much as have faith they're all fake, or a minimum of those with genuine contestants are coached on what to do. What passed off to the days of the real "genuine international"? That substitute into fact television.
