I am looking for new books to read and I've only read a few series. Here are the series I've read or completed: Skulduggery Pleasant,Famous Five, Noughts and Crosses,Gone and How to train your dragon. I want a book that's got adventure and it'll be best if it was a totally original book, maybe a mystery book? Nothing dark or evil or romantic please! I'm a Christian so make sure it's got nothign like shinigamis.Thanks.

You haven't read much at all, have you? Read...

Legend!!!! By Marie Lu - AWESOME.

One flew over the cuckoo's nest

Once and Then - 2 books, 1 series

Dead Poet's Society

The Heaven Shop

Utopia - old but start of dystopian era of books :)

Adorkable

Paper Alice

Alice in Wonderland

Try some easy classics such as A Christmas Carol, Emma or Pride and Prejudice.

Shinigamis - what is that just out of interest?!

OOOH! Also...

The Switched Series - Switched, Torn and Ascend.

Twilight Series, pretty good but a little boring.

Secret Seven

One book you will love by the looks of what you read is: Between the Lines.

Happy reading! :)

Percy Jackson and the Olympians (book one): the Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan! A fantastic book. It has some Greek mythology in it! It is very adventurous and funny too.

13 Little Blue Envelopes by Maureen Johnson. My favorite author! There is also a sequel. There is a twinge of romance in it but it isn't based on that romance. It is based on traveling and adventure!

Any book by James Patterson, especially:

Daniel X

the Maximum Ride series (my favorite book series!)

and

Witch and Wizard
dontask.

How about the Gallagher Girl series by Ally Carter?

If you google it you'll get the plot better than I can explain it.

The first book in the series is called 'I'd Tell You I Love You But Then I'd Have To Kill You'

I know the title isn't appealing but just trust me, they're amazing and have loads of different genre's worked into them.

i like the series with tiffany aching by terry pratchett. they are called:

The wee free men

a hat full of sky

winter smith

and a new one called

i shall wear midnight.

i'm not sure what shinigami means but it's about a witch called tiffany and these little blue men (not smurfs) and other witches. it's not romantic and i don't think it has anything offencive to God in it, well it doesn't mention a God in it. if ur gonna read terry's books then don't read the adult ones e.g. the colour of magic, they r so hard to read!!!!

enjoy :)

Shiver ... Linger... Forever.

Twilight??

Divergent.

Unleashed.

I don't read anything other than fantasy books so I can't really help.

Divergent isn't a romance as such, more adventure and drama.. Should check it out, it's really really good.

The mortal instruments and the infernal devices by cassandrad clare. there is a part in the mortal instruments that you might not like but trust me by the end of the books you realise.

some thing by potential of Sara Dessen. also try the Clique sequence, Gossip female, the a-list and the it-female. also, basically flow to the teenage e book aisle, and look at each of the MTV and Seventeen branded books, they are many times reliable.
