I love to read I just never know where to find a good book. I am sure some of you will say that all books are good books, and I would agree to an extent. If the book doesn't draw me in within the first chapter I can't continue on...unless I specifically know that it will start moving fast in chapter 3 or something. I love book SERIES, or at least books that have a sequel. I will list some of the Authors I have read and enjoyed to give you some direction. I love VC Andrews, Anne Rice, Alyson Noel, JR Ward, Stephen King. I have pretty much read every book by these Authors. I tend to like romance, complex family dynasties (VC ANDREWS), vampires, and general drama. I did read Eat, Love, Pray and thought it was great so I am not against Non-Fiction. I just generally like fun books, with interesting characters, I am not looking for books to change my life or anything like that. However, I won't turn down any suggestion, so please send me your favorites! Thank you thank you in advance!

in case you examine slowly, you have 3 options: study to verify speedier, spend extra time examining according to day, or do no longer do your classwork. i myself do no longer advise the third option (inspite of what another answerers pronounced, i myself have examine each and every thing i replaced into assigned, and it is not an peculiar element). you are able to extremely look at some velocity examining classes while you're so vulnerable (perhaps over the summer time?), yet for now I advise placing aside some beyond customary time each and every day to verify extra. My advice is this: circulate to mattress a splash early, and positioned across the e book with you. If it fairly is boring and you doze off, then you definately get extra relax for the night and you're extra unsleeping day after today. If it fairly is thrilling and you reside unsleeping, you end extra examining. the two way, you dream approximately it in one day, which helps to solidify your memory and know-how of the e book. This replaced into an staggering technique in college, the place pupils are often short on sleep and characteristic lots of examining to do besides :-)

Not sure if you like classics, but I do.... Try reading something by Harlan Ellison. He's real old school, but great. Also Ray Bradbury. He's old school horror, and science fiction. He wrote: Something Wicked This Way Comes, The Halloween Tree (kids story), Fahrenheit 451, and others. H.P. Lovecraft he wrote some seriously creepy stuff. R.L. Stine, Darren Shan, Brandon Mull: Fablehaven series, The Devouring (I highly recommend this) by Simon Holt. Happy Hunting....

"Call me Ishmael."

You're absolutely right--a book should draw you in in its first chapter. Melville (Moby Dick) does it in the first line.

Are you interested in complex family dynasties and romance? Tolstoy's "Anna Karenia" can't be beat.

What's wrong with changing your life while you have a good time? "Hiroshima" by John Hersey will do it.
