-SPOILERS-

This is a question about the actual story. You know how they say there was a Taboo on the word 'Voldemort', and that's how the Death Eaters found the trio in Tottengham Court? How come the Taboo didn't work when they said his name in Grimmauld place?

I was thinking it was because the Fidelius charm protected the house, but didn't Ron say it breaks down all enchantments? Or is the Fidelius charm somehow resistant to the Taboo?.....

Remember how the death eaters gathered outside? The taboo spelled enabled them to come within the vicinity of the person who said Voldemort's name but not necessarily the exact location...for instance when they get caught later the death eater's appear right next to the location of their campsite, not actually in their campsite.

Now as for the Taboo's ability to cancel out spells the charm the requires a Secret Keeper (the fideus? maybe? Okay I read your question again the Fidelius) is too powerful a spell for the taboo to cancel out. That particular spell only broken by the secret keeper (I remember at some point that Jo mentioned that if the secret keeper died without revealing the location of the place to anyone, the spell remained intact and no one would be able to find the location)

Hope this helps!

As I recall, the did find them because death eaters started gathering outside. The only reason I can think of, of why they didn't get captured is because of all the charms Sirius's dad put on the house as well as all the charms Dumbledore and the order put on the house.

There are a lot of things that could have prevented them from coming in: The charms were made by Sirius/Dubmbledore/Sirius's dad and they're all dead...Harry is now the owner of Grimmauld place.. Maybe the charms were stronger magic?

It could be any number of reasons.

You're making my want to reread...lol
