I need it for a story. It's just two words on the forearm in a nice font. I'm stuck on the sentence describing it. My mind's just blank.

L'âme soeur. Soul mate.
The skin the tattoo was imprinted on was a bright red, contrasting sharply with the black lettering on my forearm.
The calligraphy was narrow and elegant, curving in tendrils over my skin almost seductively. I had no patience writing calligraphy, and to have it there permanently etched on my skin until I died would remind me of that beautiful, dangerous boy who was my L'âme soeur. In truth, although it may seem a bit sappy, that's who I got the tattoo for, who I sat for ages in a hard wooden chair letting a man poke needles into me.
All for him.
:D hope you liked it, of curse you can change around the wording since I have no idea what your stories really like

I had my first tattoo done 2 days ago. I didn't find it painful at all and I have an average pain threshold. I would describe it as someone trying to get a fine biro to write using your skin rather then paper. Halfway through we decided I should lie down to have it done, as it's more comfortable, and I nearly fell asleep.

It depends if its his or somebodies else. If it is his you can say that it caused him much pain as the scribbling of art was permanently glued to his flesh and skin. Or that its a part of his body that will never come off. And if is somebodies else you can usually describe their appearance like if they were a biker it would give a whole story without reading the next sentence.

well, tell if the font is block, has vines protruding from certain areas, what color it is, the words, how it contrasts to the person (skin, personality, ect.) and go from there.

work it out for yourself. strain your brain. it's called "thinking for yourself"
someone who can't even use their own imagination isn't much of a writer.
