Question:
STEPHENIE MEYER or J.K. ROWLING? Who do you think is better?

As much as I love Harry Potter (and trust me, I do), I love the Twilight series way more. I love Edward, Bella, and Jacob. And Alice of course. In my opinion it is written better and it doesn't get old. Plus, I love reading a good romance/vampire/werewolve book, so it just works for me. Stephenie Meyer rocks!

Again, I agree with you. I love Twilight so much more than Harry Potter. And yes, while Harry Potter is amazing, it's not the sort of book that you can read again and again. I love the romance and the "monsters" in the Twilight series. Go Stephenie!

I like Stephenie Meyer better because I feel like a kid reading the HP series. Even though Meyer's characters are young (well some of them) I feel like I can relate to them more. Plus, I love the romance between Edward and Bella.

Right, firstly: YOU CAN'T DECIDE IF YOU HAVEN'T READ MATERIAL FROM BOTH AUTHORS!!!!

And secondly:

I like both, but J.K. Rowling's descriptive ways can get tiring. Also, Twilight/New Moon are much more epic, and they involve the reader more.

J.K. Rowling is probably a more talented -author-

But Stephenie Meyer is a more talented storyteller.

I hope that makes sense.

And.. WE LOVE EDWARD CULLEN!

I have yet to read any work by Stephenie Meyer, so I will have to say at this point J.K. Rowling of the Potter juggernaut fame.

This is really hard. I LOVE Harry Potter but Stephenie Meyer takes this one for me. I was looking forward to her third book more than I was the final book in the series of Harry Potter. It's coming out, what, August 17th or something like that? I'm definitely look forward to that one!!!

Stephenie. J.K. has been around longer and has written a fantastic series, but Stephenie's books are romantic and suspensful. Harry is more suspenseful than romantic. Stephenie has created more 3-D characters. I love Twilight & New Moon. Can't wait for Eclipse!!

I love J.K. Rowling's books, but hated all the deaths and despair and the ending of the last book was just way too cheesy.

On the other hand Stephanie Meyer's books are really great, and I love them in a totally different way. I just started reading Eclipse, I got the ebook today....it's so exciting....

I never read the Twilight series, but I just looked it up. Sounded interesting, something I'd probably read, but I don't think I'm going to like anything much more than J.K. Rowling.

I also like hp now, but it just go a little old because i have read them about 100 times each, and twilight never gets old, it just gets better and better each time i read it.

Theyre both kind of in the same genre (fantasy) but are different alltogether!!!! I personally grew more attached to Harry Potter because I really didnt read the twilight series until later. I love both so much...its hard to tell!!!!!!!!!

I love both and they both have different writing styles. It depends on my mood, though. Right now, i'm liking the Twilight series more. Even though the 7th Harry Potter book was really good. So I like them both.

I would have to pick Stephanie Meyer. She did a better job of taking a Fantasy and making the characters so realistic and.. human, that you can't help but to believe her.
