I Just bought these 2 books IMMORTALS OF MELUHA, and THE SECRET OF THE NAGAS started reading The Immortals Of Meluha and so far i ve read 5 chapters. I felt Its truely an extra ordinary masterpiece. But i am not understanding one thing. According to the novel, Lord Ram built the extra ordinary Kingdom of Meluha many centuries before the birth of Shiva in a tribal community called "Gunas". But according to the Ramayana and other epics, Lord Shiva has been existing since times immemorial, and HANUMAN who is one of the most important characters of Ramayana, was an incarnation of Lord Shiva himself...so that means Lord Shiva existed during the times of Lord Ram, and also much before the birth of Ram. This is completely opposite to what has been mentioned in the novel, which says Shiva was born 1200 years after Lord Ram's reign. And when did Ram build this great kingdom of Meluha anyway ? Ram's capital was AYODHYA. After 14 years of exile, defeating Ravana, and bringing back Sita, he returns to Ayodhya. Then LAVA KUSHA story takes place and Sita returns to mother earth in the end and Ram goes back to rule Ayodhya with Lav and Kush. So is it After that he builds the kingdom of Meluha ??? Also, the novel says that the "Suryavanshis" were very good kings and the ALL the Chandravanshis were completely evil, corrupt. But, all great rulers of "MAHABHARATHA", like Dharmaraya (Yudhishtir), Arjuna, Bheema, etc were all Chandravanshis, and they were not evil but very good kings and also deciples of Lord Krishna. So i guess almost everyone will have read this book, and most of the people who have read it, will be having a good view of Indian Mythology, so please clarify my doubts.
