I just got a book to write in like a diary and knowing my mum she will come tidy up my room even when it's already clean and find it and she will look through it, I need some codes to write my diary in!

i would suggest a complex code where you switch the letters - you have a phrase that you use which is 26 letters long - the first letter in that phrase is substituted where you want to write an a, the next in the phrase represents a b, etc... this means that it would take a moderately clever person quite a while to break the code manually but keeps it easy for you - if you get suspicious that someone has worked out your code, you can change it and no-one would realise. make sure you put in entries that are just random letters to confuse people!

Write a diary on the computer and hide the file. Or invest in a diary with a little lock. Code is too much work.

Make up your own, and hide the cipher very well. or just hide your diary very well.

Here is a really good site that can help you write your own code. If you use one already made up, your parents might be able to find it on the Internet

If you're old enough to keep a diary, you're old enough to tidy your own room.

If you're not grown up enough to clean your room, keep it in your locker @ preschool.

You don't have to do all that, just hide it somewhere she wouldn't think to look. Or, like someone said, buy a lock to put on it.
