You might like Jodi Picoult, even though it's not teen fiction. Each of her books centers around some kinf of moral dillemma and they're all suspenseful page turners.

I just read Meg Cabot Size 12 is NOt Fat and Size 14 Is Not Fat Either, both excellent easy summer reading.

My favorite thing to do is raid the Barnes and Noble discount bin, there's usually cheap books in there, random novels that are fun to read.

When I was in high school I read everything by V.C. Andrews, romance type novels (prolly not meant for teenagers but shhhh :-)

Teen fiction wasn't really as developed then as it is now, so I don't know what to recommend specifically in that genre, but if you like reading, any of the suggestions I gave you should be close enough to your reading and interest level. Have fun.

-the Bartimaeus trilogy by Jonathan Stroud*****

-the Artemis Fowl series by Eoin Coffer*

-The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen(any book by her)

-Hawksong(series) by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes(any book by her)

-The Shannara series by Terry Brooks*****

-Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte

-Watership Down by Richard Adams

-Great Expectations by Charles Dickens*

-Warrior Cats series by Erin Hunter

-The Counte of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas*

-The Princess Bride by William Goldman*

-Discworld series by Terry Pratchet*****

*s are the ones I really REALLY recommend for anyone to read, and the ones with five *s are the best books I've ever read in my life!!!!

A great teen fiction novel is THE NINTH GENERATION: Conquering the Giants. It borders on fantasy but claim to be historical fiction - easy to read and quite an adventure. Check out the author's website and read the first two chapters free to see if you like it - www.TheNinthGeneration.com
