In book 5, we learn Dumbledore was secret keeper (via the Fidelius charm) for number 12 Grimmuald Place. Moody gave Harry a note (from Dumbledore) giving the secret. In addition, in book 6, we learn that those who learn the secret (from the secret keeper) can see whatever is hidden but not reveal the secret. This is explained by Snape having access to number 12 Grimmuald place (still book 5, partially book 6 (Snape tells Bellatrix he cannot reveal the location of the Order of the Phoenix HQ since he is not secret keeper).
So far, it is fine.
Fast forward to book 7. Dumbledore is already dead, and all the people who learned the secret became secret keepers. At this point, Snape CAN reveal the secret to the Death Eaters (as part of his disguise, I understand that in the end we learn he worked for Dumbledore). So the 2 plot holes are:
1) Why would Snape (in trying to keep his disguise) not reveal the location to the Death Eaters now that he COULD (since he became a secret keeper)?
2) When Yaxley held on to Hermione when she disapperated from the ministry, we learn she revealed the secret to him. However, by the rules of the Fidelius charm, Yaxley would not be able to divulge the location of the HQ of the Order of the Phoenix since Hermione, the secret keeper that gave the secret, is still alive. So is there any explanation as to this? (I checked several times, but found nothing)

1) It's said that some sort of enchantment either Dumbledore or Moody put on the place is preventing him from doing that (it's linked to the spell that caused that dusty corspe Moody thing to show up any time someone entered the house).

2) You're right, I really don't have a good answer for that. Good catch.

2. Hermione didn't exactly show it to Yaxley cause she appeared at the spot, and he probably just thought it was a random place to get them out of there. Hermione also didn't show him inside and she got out of there as soon as she could.

1. Cause that would help Voldemort instead of bring him down. Also the other deatheaters don't know Snape knows so it was a secret.

Mine became already suggested, and in fact i've got asked a question in this. that's the inhabitants of Hogwarts. Alex already defined all of it yet i will bypass forward besides. It says that for the period of Harry's dorm, there are 5 beds for the lads in his 12 months. Estimate approximately that plenty for the ladies in Gryffindor, and that's 10 for one abode in one 12 months. For 4 properties, that is forty. For seven years, that is way too small a selection for a fortress whose corridors are consistently busy and whose super corridor desires 4 long tables to in superb condition the scholars in. For one 12 months, there may be approximately 70 scholars. i understand precisely what a hundred scholars sounds like, and you would be wanting approximately 0.5 the dimensions of one of those long tables for a hundred scholars, much less 70. i'm no longer able to think of of any others, and that is been thrilling finding at what different plotholes have been caught. I agree, the wand good judgment does not precisely make experience to me. Neither does Ron employing Parseltongue. i think of Rowling cheated good judgment somewhat interior the final e book with the two a type of issues and bringing Harry lower back to existence. I advise, I style of see the way it surpassed off- Voldemort killed the horcrux and style of Harry. i assume. yet nevertheless, the best judgment does not make plenty experience. in spite of the undeniable fact that, with the wand disarming. that is achieveable that reason has something to do with it. interior the DA, all of them knew they have been disarming for prepare. yet against dying Eaters, they have been disarming for hide and such. i do no longer understand, even that is style of fuzzy. nevertheless, i admire how all of those issues do no longer likely detract from the series. i've got self belief like Rowling's such an magnificent author that she's allowed to make some blunders, and not all of those are considerable. So that is superb. aside from the Hogwarts inhabitants. That one bothers me. @Goldfish: i think of that is fuzzy good judgment, that's notably close to to a plot hollow for Harry Potter. yet I thoroughly agree. i do no longer think of there is any way absolutely everyone could clarify it to me that would help in making experience out of it. It does not worry me an outstanding purchase, yet nevertheless. -Yeah, HP particularly is the final. :D

1) Snape doesn't want to tell the other death eaters so he pretends he still can't.

2) Although Yaxley couldn't tell them, he could go inside!
