Have you noticed that this site is over fludded with TWILIGHT questions, but not much Harry Potter...

Do you think it's because Meyer doens't explain her books very well and that's why there's so many questions about it, but JKR does explain her books very well so there no need for much questions???

Just a thought...

I never thought of that, but that might be a possibility....

There used to be a TON of Harry Potter questions on here. Easily just as many as Twilight. The thing is that the Twilight books are more recently popular (the last book came out just a few months ago) whereas the last Harry Potter book came out well over a year ago.

You might also notice there are also a lot of questions where people ask others to answer or do their homework. Interesting thought though, there are more questions about liking/disliking characters; OMG Edward is so hot; my boyfriend isn't like him; OMG Edward is so hot. May be there were more Harry Potter questions when the books were just released (I wasn't around then).

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that a lot of the Twilight questions are also about the movie, which by the way, is in the wrong section.

Look again at the nature of the Twilight questions--most of them have to do with what you like, dislike, basic facts. Not so much around confusion to the plotline.

Harry Potter's craze is dying down, it's not in it's heyday anymore, unlike Twilight. The movie just came out, so there's even more hype. I think there are plenty of questions about both HP and Twilight. Personally, I wish the questions here were less about solving your English homework or "Team Edward or Team Jacob?".

I've never really given that much thought, but now that you've brought it up it seems like a possible outcome. That is true in a sense though since after or even when you're reading a book from the twilight series there is sometimes questions left unanswered. As for HP well theres tons of detail so you usually get a descriptive picture as a whole.

That's it in part.. J. K. Rowling was very easily understood in her writing style. and Stephenie Meyer isn't.

But the main thing is that right now the Twilight questions are at an all time high because of the over promotion of the last book and then the first movie.

It should ease given time, till they start promoting the next movie. (especially since the next proposed book is mostly on hold)

I think that's partly it, but also that Twilight is a bigger deal right now, so people are going crazy over it and it's all they think about. But Harry Potter will always be better by far than Twilight.

YES!!!!!!!!

remember when the last harry potter book came out? there were many questions on harry potter, but they were just like on quizzes, and opinions, and favorite characters. and the fans that did ask questions about the books just didn't get it, but other fans did and they helped them out. twilight is not very well written and im not surprised to see all these questions on the books.

You are right!!

I agree with you, I read the Twilight saga and it does not give a lot of details unlike Harry Potter it gives you details like crazy.

No, it's because the Twilight movie just came out this weekend.

The interest in Twilight is at an all-time high.

its because a million obsessed girls want to talk about how hot edward is rather than plot structure or literary analysis. J.K. is an amazing writer. Twilight books were pretty boring...
