how do you turn a book into an ebook format?

I've finished my manuscript, have it in original word processor format as well as word.doc. How do I turn it into an ebook? I want to offer it as such on a website.

You should check out PubIt! by Barnes and Noble. It's a great way to make your book available on their ebook shop. PubIt! will convert your document to .epub format for you. Check out the website below.

You have to turn it into adobe file format. Whenever I want to put my own writing onto my Nook I save it as an adobe file (I have 2010 microsoft word but some word processors are really old and need file conversion) and then I download it onto my Nook once I plug it in.



Save it as an adobe file or download a converter to do it for you.
