i dont believe that there should be and established form to write a book. If your able to use your mind creatively and geniously then keeping the reader flip those pages will determine if the book is good or not. My dad will tell me some storys that if he woud write them down, ill be the first customer, not because he is my dad, but because they are good storys.

There is a form to writing a book, but don't mistake this with formula. All stories follow a quest. As a storyteller, you can't get around this no matter how you try. Studying what the quest is and how it works, though, can help you to maximize your craft and tell fantastic stories; that is take your idea from a seed and grow it into a story with deep meaning. That is true literature. Prose isn't storytelling, but it can provide a deeper texture to it.

How you approach the quest, though, depends on what you prefer to focus upon. There are certain methods that are recommended but like any art such as painting, music, photography, some of the recommendations are better to be mastered and then once you master them you can learn to break them. An analogy: Picasso had a natural talent as a painter but he still studied painting to learn how to paint realistic images before he painted abstractly.

Every writer, like a painter and a musician, should take the time to learn the craft of storytelling.

Yes, plot is extremely important. Otherwise you only have a collection of random thoughts and actions. You can have subplots woven into the main plot, but you MUST have a plot. It's like a pattern for a piece of clothing. Without using a pattern or form, you might end up with the sleeve on the bottom, or the neckhole sewed shut. Plot is what gives the book structure.

Your dad's stories might make a good short story book, or maybe they could all be woven together with a unified theme for a novel.

I suppose it depends on what sort of book you are writing, if it is a story book then i suppose you would need a plot, if its a life story there is no plot only is in the persons life, i would love to write a book about my life but i would not know how to start, I also suppose there has to be a start a middle and an end, without a good storyline people will not read the book, its like a slow film, would you carry on watch it, to see if it got better? or would you turn over to a better one? it is with the individual to decide` don't you think?

The "established" form you speak of was not defined by agents, editors or publishers. It was defined by the market. The publishing industry prints and sells books that meet two qualifications. The books have to be good AND they have to be sellable. Take Slaughterhouse-Five by Kurt Vonnegut. That book is not typical in the slightest, but not many people could pull off such an unorthodox storyline.

You can tell stories many different ways. Nobody can tell you how to write. If one is indeed geniusly gifted with prose, then they shouldn't have a problem spewing forth some structure to address the plot.

Traditional outlines, plot setting, and layouts used to structure a story are generally foundations for all readers to understand. Don't forget about your audience, they didnt have the picture you had in your head when you wrote the story, you must find a way for them to understand it.

God is not any respecter of persons and so if by "interested in ameliorations of opinion" you recommend the persons or Peoples espousing the opinion, the respond is not any, God isn't interested in ameliorations of opinion. regardless of if, if what you recommend is the subculture being endorsed, the respond if a different confident! God is incredibly fascinated interior the keeping of a particular subculture and so ameliorations of opinion, by the cultures, do rely. immediately what's called "Christian" is the authentic "Jew" (word i did no longer say Judaism for that's no longer the subculture God is advertising). God's paintings is calling for to exalt the "Jew" -- people who worship Him in spirit and in certainty. For He suggested, interior the manifesed form of Jesus Christ, "Salvation is of the Jews", yet Judaism as all of us recognize it immediately does not properly known Christ because of the fact the Messiah and /or God interior the flesh. 'How can we are saying one culturally stimulated interpretation of religion is extra perfect to a various?' we are in a position to declare it because of the fact no longer basically does the single authentic and residing God sell it in His word, yet additionally the writer of the universe could be a fool to exalt one that faithfully operates in a Godless faith or a faith of many diverse gods. To do such could handle to pay for the writer incredibly NO glory. it fairly is like plagiarism or psychological property violation: yet another gets the credit for the author's paintings could you create the Grand Canyon or a mind-blowing break of day and have your beautiful creations exalt yet another as their writer? you would be able to declare confident, yet God does not. it fairly is because of the fact His introduction is "dulled" whilst it operates "falsely" or whilst it "misses the mark". The introduction SHINES whilst it fairly is "authentic" or whilst it hits the "bullseye". At such situations, God, the writer is glorified. His basically reason is that His introduction SHINES for whilst it does, He does. basically one would properly be authentic. he's the way, the certainty and the existence.
