I have read books one through four, but I can't get my hands on the fifth book. I am DYING to know what happens to Luke, as he is my favorite character, so will someone PLEASE tell me if he stops working for Kronos or not and why. If you have time to include a small excerpt from the book as well, it would be much appreciated. Thanks :)

Luke dies in The Last Olympian when he is given Annabeth's knife by Percy. He commits suicide by stabbing himself under his left arm where his mortality was still kept intact after his bath in the River Styx (known as his Achilles heel). As he dies, he asks Percy to make sure all the demigods are claimed to avoid this happening again which might mean that they had become friends again because he is forgiven by Percy. Although he is seen as a villain throughout the series, in the end he is treated like a hero and forgiven by everyone. He is also the hero mentioned by the prophecy of the Oracle in The Last Olympian.

1. Yes, there will be more books. So far, 4 have been released. The fifth I've heard will be released as soon as February 2009. 2. Thalia goes with some huntresses who never age. She'll never be part of the prophecy. 3. Annabeth and Percy stay together as friends and do quests together. 4. I hate giving away secrets, but if you have read up to the middle of the fourth book, I guess I can tell you what happens to Luke and Kronos. Kronos needs a body, right? So he uses Luke's and they become one person. It's too bad I don't know any website about greek gods. Oh well. Well here you go. Have fun reading!

He goes back to the good side. Turns out, Kronos was just brainwashing him into following him.
