Maybe the BD spoilers are a hoax?

Stephenie REALLY took spoilers seriously. She didn't want anything leaked from Breaking Dawn. And she even stated that she had a sick sense of humor when she posted the quotes of the day, and that they weren't meant to be taken too seriously.. so maybe she did this on purpose. Maybe she released a few fake copies of the book in a couple small towns, knowing that her fans would go ballistic and the chance of any REAL spoilers getting out would be slim. Besides, all the quotes of the days are in the first 300 pages. That just seems really odd to me considering there's nearly 800 pages in the book. And the copies circulating the net right now shows Breaking Dawn in three parts: 1 in Bella's POV, 2 in Jacob's POV, and 3 in Bella's POV. I thought Stephenie stated that Breaking Dawn would be ALL in Bella's POV. I don't know. It just doesn't seem right to me. Of course, vampires don't have semen so "Nessie" could never be a half-vampire. Meyer stated that it wasn't possible herself. She's either seriously tricking us, or she's on crack.

You are a smarty pants! I think you are right! I have tried and tried to ignore these spoiler things, but it is so hard when there are so many of them. I think the one about the baby sounds weird to me... but then again... one of the quotes was "I've seen vampire venom work miracles, but there are conditions that even venom cannot overcome." that Carlisle says... maybe... but this is a total maybe... what if Bella does get bitten and her whole self doesn't change and for some strange reason they can have a baby... I don't know. It sounds absurd to me!! But, I am just speculating about the book. Who knows....right!



We shall see... just 1 day left... not too shabby!

I thought it was a hoax at first, as well, but now that I've read the spoiler chapters, I think it's real.



The voice is definitely that of Stephenie's, the characters are true to themselves, the quotes fit in perfectly. Even the "she can't get pregnant" thing is somewhat addressed with a mention of Bella reading about a succubus back when she was first researching vamps in Twilight. The Jacob chapters in particular read very true to character--both his and Edward's pain and angst are drawn in true Stephenie-style.



I dont' know ... I would think that Breaking Down would not be 14+ chapters. Plus, if she was going to do a "parody" I think it would be waaaay more obvious and crazy. Once you read the chapters you kinda think, "Ugh, I wouldn't have gone in this direction, but she's got a full set up for the final book going here." You can imagine all the things that could happen with the scenario. The plot *sounds* really awful, but when you read the book, it comes across more as just strange and not what was expected. I'm still eager to hear how it ends.

I have no freakin` idea. I'm completely befuddled by this as you are. I might have accidentally taken a glance at the sixth or so chapter of Breaking Dawn. I think it's pretty strange how Bella is pregnant yet Edward has no semen? He's all venom. It doesn't make any sense. And Stephenie just went against what she told everyone. She confirmed that it wasn't possible. I'm hoping they're not trying to pull another Harry Potter on us. Twilight is too good for this and if Breaking Dawn isn't what I expected it to be, I'm gonna burn all 5 copies of my books and I'm not even kidding. Argh - I can't wait until I actually get the book with the actual, living proof.

I think it's real.



The reason I think it's real is because I read chapters 1-7 *yesterday* morning. Last night, I checked the quote of the day for today on SM's myspace (she updates her myspace earlier than she does her website). The quote was the, "Jacob: 'I'll kill you myself! I'll do it now!" one. And that was in the chapters I read yesterday *morning*. How could they have put the real quote from *today* into it, if they didn't have the book, unless they are psychic? They couldn't have had access to that quote, since it wasn't even released yet. But it was in the chapters they posted. So to me, the most logical conclusion is that it's the real thing.



Plus there are pictures online of the "Book one-- Bella", "Book two-- Jacob" and "Book 3-- Bella" pages. I don't know why they'd fake that.



Stephenie Meyer has been strict about the no spoiler thing, but JKR was pretty strict too, and the 6th and 7th books were still leaked.

No, they're real.



Someone I know who works in a bookstore confirmed the epilogue spoilers, and other people online who have seen the actual book have also done so.



The first 14 chapters have been leaked, and I've read them. They're definitely real. And yeah, the book sucks as badly as the spoilers would suggest.

yea but i kinda believe the whole baby nessie thing because all though she vampires couldnt have babies she didnt say HUMANS couldnt so if bella get pregnant while she was still human she still could. rosalie couldnt because her body was in a frozen state so she couldnt grow or change with the pregnancy. i believe it's true. but thats just me
