I've always been told that my life is a series of outlandish events that would make for a great motivational book or series. I've always wanted to put my life on paper but I haven't the slightest idea where to begin! How can I find someone to either present my life time line to or someone to help me condense my stories into book form? I know celebs get others to write books for them on many occasions, but who can help the little people with big stories out?! HELP *If any of you are interested in helping PLEASE feel free but also know I'm not an idiot, so I will keep all email correspondence to prove the rights of the story are mine :) *

If the story is that inspirational and amazing then just write a skeleton draft of your experiences and see if any publishers are interested. Chances are though, even if you've had an amazing life, most people wont want to pay to read about it. Could try women's magazines to make some fast cash... they print all sorts. Best of luck to you.

Work out a timeline.

Begin with your d.o.b. and what was occuring on that day.

Then, research your pre-school stuff. Playgroups/nursery/kindergarten etc.

Earliest memories of interaction.- family, friends, schoolbuds, that kind of thing.

Who was first boy/girlf.etc

Once you have a skeletal framework, see where all the interesting stories fit in.

Remember, with memory also comes embelishment. So if you think you remember an incident, try and find somebody else who was also there at the time. This way you get two people's thoughts on what they perceive to have happened.{remembering an incident when you were 4 may have been far more traumatic than experiencing it at 24.....see?}

Good luck:}

I think it's mostly about inspiration. It's important to read a lot if you want to write a good book. If it's an autobiography, you could read other autobiographies, like 'Between a Rock and a Hard Place' by Aron Ralston. But you should read fiction as well.

Hope that helps. :-)

The reason these books sell for celebs is because people want to know how they got there. There's a reason the market isn't flooded with autobiographies from average people - no one cares.
