Yes, I suppose last Tuesday, would be their 30th Birthday, it's hard to imagine George going through life without his twin and....it's even harder to imagine what he's like at age 30! How much of his original sense of humor do you think he'd retain?



-"Pathetic," he told George. "Pathetic! With the whole wide -world of ear-related humor before you, you go for holey?"

"Ah well," said George, grinning at his tear soaked mother, "You'll be able to tell us apart now, anyway, Mum."



-"This is different pretending to be me-" "Well none of us really fancy it Harry" said Fred earnestly. "Imagine if something went wrong and we were stuck as specky scrawny gits forever"



'Oh, are you a Prefect, Percy?' said one of the twins, with an air of great surprise. 'You should have said something, we had no idea.'

'Hang on, I think I remember him saying something about it,' said the other twin. 'Once– '

'Or twice–'

'A minute– '

'All summer–'



-"We've got it (Percy's Head Boy badge). We're improving it." The badge now read, "Bighead Boy."

I know that last one, wasn't really a Fred and George quote but it has to do with Fred, and I laughed out loud the first time I read it :P

In Deathly Hallows when the order got back to the burrow after their encounter with Voldemort,

and Fred said to his mothers inquiry as to how he felt.. he responded."Saintlike"

Then Fred asked what was wrong with him, "Is his mind affected?"

Then he repeated "saintlike" opened his eyes and looked up at his brother "You see.... I'm Holy, Fred, geddit?"



I love the twins and was very upset to read about Freds death

I don't exactly know where it is, but i think its in the 6th book. not sure though. someone says something and either fred or george say, "Thats rarer than snape going near a bottle of shampoo" or something like that. Shoot. I wish i hadn't stayed up all night. maybe then I woulda been able to remember it.
