Put Odysseus's Adventures in the correct order:

___ Crew completely wiped out
___ Cicones
___ Cyclopes
___ Odysseus and Telemachus fight suitors
___ Sirens
___ Aeolus gives Odysseus the bag of unfavorable winds
___ Penelope gives test of the bow to suitors
___ Lotus Eaters
___ Circe turns men into pigs
___ Zeus hits boat with lightning
___ Odysseus proves himself to Penelope with the secret of the bed
___ Scylla/Charybdis
___ Odysseus returns home with help of Phaecians
___ Crew takes Helios's cattle

I'm trying to put them in order as we speak....err type. I just need a little help. I'll check back in a bit to compare. Btw, I read this out of my Literature book, Glencoe Literature: The reader's choice. Course 4. If anyone is wondering.

Thanks.

If you read Pride and Prejudice and scored well on the test, The Odyssey should not be a problem for you. I was in 9th grade when I read The Odyssey, and it was not an extra hard read. It is rather long however which can make it harder to get through. If you like social commentaries and historical fictions I would suggest A Tale of Two Cities; TOTC and Pride and Prejudice are my two favorite books. If you like science fiction, Frankenstein is an interesting, relatively quick read compared to The Odyssey. Hope that helps.. good luck!

I haven't read it in forever, but you could check it against Shmoop's summary... if an event is not in the brief version, it should be in the detailed version:

good luck!
