Ok, with Tonks and Lupin here...forget everyone else...ok...

Well Remus's werewolf disease...it starts with a L I forget what its called...but any who..isnt it also carried through salivia? So thats mean Tonks and Lupin can never actually happen...because the first time they actually kiss...BAM Tonks is a werewolf...and I know for a fact Lupin doesnt want that happening...so whats the catch? Are they actually going to last?
Or is it only a one night stand?...=/

Tonks and Lupin were my favourite couple to...

I think you must be bitten by a werewolf... this implies that salivia must enter the blood stream. So kissing should be okay as long as there are no small cuts in tonk's mouth. Also in the latest book bill (or was it charle) was bitten by a werewolf that was not in werewolf state... no one in the book knows if this means bill will become a werewold or not... to me this implies that a werewolf's disease is considered only passed on when the werewolf is in wolf form and not human.

I really don't think you were supposed to read that deeply into it. And the woman's bound the make mistakes because the world she has created is so uniquely hers. I'm sure she doesn't have every teeny tiny detail figured out. It's time consuming and takes up the time she should be writing the acutal plot which centers around a totally different character. That whole Lupin and Tonks thing was just a sideline...though I did like the fact that it didn't matter to her that he was a werewolf.

First of all if a werewolf has to be affected by the full moon in order to turn someone else into a werewolf. Because Greyback wasn't affected by the fool moon that's why Bill isn't fully turned into a werewolf. And even if that was the case they would have found a magical way around that. I'm really sure they would work out as a couple and hope that they even have normal kids ;)

I think it's just when he's in werewolf form is when it is REALLY affective. Like Bill, he got attacked when Greyback wasn't in werewolf form and he didn't become a werewolf, he just like super rare steaks. And, I agree with everyone else, it has to be saliva/blood contact!

Plus: I don't think Tonks would care, but Lupin sure would!! Tonks and Lupin would be a cute werewolf couple if anyone would!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really think that you can only become a werewolf if you are bitten by one. and if you think about it, Lupin is a werewolf right? so he would know that it could pass through saliva right? so if this was true and all, and he loved Tonks, then he wouldn't further their relashinship becasue it would put Tonks in Danger! so i really don't think we have to worry about Tonks becomeing a werewolf... but then again, something could happen to Tonks, like when Lupin changes into a werewolf and he bites her, then she would become a werewolf. but like i say in every answer for the 7th book, none of us will know until the book comes out. I CAN'T WAIT!!!

it is call Lycanthropy. i don't now how Rowling does her werewolves but the ones that i have done research on get the disease by being attacked, not through saliva. you can get it by being scratched by one that is in half-human/half werewolf form or when they are a full werewolf. so Tonks is safe as long as Lupin doesn't attack her in werewolf form or in half and half :)

i read a lot of Laurell K. Hamilton and i'm proud! lol

Lycanthropy is the werewolf disease. The werewolves in JK Rowling's world are a bit different than traditional werewolf-lore. She has said that werewolves in her world are not affected by silver, which is usually an element that severely harms werewolves, so it's possible that saliva doesn't transmit werewolf disease. It seems like the bite, not the saliva, is the transmitting factor in her world.

well just because he's a werewolf doesn't mean their relationship won't last...hmm saliva...i don't think the disease is carried through it...is it even a disease? he was just bitten by a werewolf && Tonks said she does't care that he's a werewolf && besides Bill (Ron's brother) is going to marry Fleur (sp?) && they're bound to kiss once in a while ;]

If you don't want a barker it's probably not the best idea to get a herding breed (you can train them not to, but it's harder than others) Know this from experience. I think a good dog breed is a Beagle, they are very friendly. All the dogs that you listed are good breeds and I would also go with trying to find some breeders in your area with google. Good luck!

I'm guessing it's only contagious through blood mixing with saliva, like when a werewolf bites the victim, not when he kisses her.

it may be carried through saliva but doesmt it have to be an open wound..like a bite or something? so it gets in the blood stream.........

cuz if it was just carried through kissing..that would be dumb cuz wouldnt it technicly (sp) go through the digestive system..and then well...out again..no harm done...?

Maybe as Lupin was turned into a warewolf by an animagus, then he can't pass it on again, as he IS an animagus...there must be a reason, a way round it. J. K Rowling always has one!

They are also one of my favourite couples, after Harry and Ginny of course! Harry Potter Rules!! xx

What a strange question, I mean who actually notices this sort of stuff. Anyway just wondering.....did you audition for Lavender Brown the other day? What sort of questions did they ask??
