I am writing a book in Word, and am unsure of how many pages it will be when it is in standard "book" form. Just a normal paperback, or hardback....about how many pages do I have to write in Word? How many words are on one page of a regular book?

There is a way to format your pages in word so that they will print out in book form (or phamplet). Basically, it converts you printout to landscape, 2 colums per page (about 2 pages on one regular word page).

So, about 1 page in Word for about 2 pages in a "regular" book. But books come in all sizes and lengths, so how long one should be depends on the story you have to tell, and your target audience.

I was wondering the same thing. But, really, it depends on what you consider the size of a book page to be.

1 page on word = 2pages on book

2 pgs on book = 1 pages on word
