Some reviews for books say that there is a lot of typos in the kindle version. So does amazon ever get around to fix the typos? Is there a way to report to fix the book? Would they leave a notice saying the book has been updated for removing the typos?

You can report typos by going to the page of the Kindle book on Amazon. Near the bottom of the page, there's a box that says "Feedback." There's a link there to report typos/poor formatting in the Kindle book. None of my books, that I know of, have been updated, but I've heard of books that have had poor formatting/numerous typos being updated automatically by Amazon.

Amazon don't fix the typos themselves, but they provide a mechanism for the publisher to distribute a revised version of the book. If the publisher decided to fix the typos, they upload the new version, and Amazon then email everybody who's bought the book, offering them a free update to the new version.

This happened with a book that I bought. My "to be read" list is quite long, and the publisher updated this book before I'd got around to reading the original version.

In addition to the answer above - I've had at least two books that were fixed due to typos and other problems. In both cases I received an email letting me know that a newer version was available. I responded to the email to let them know I wanted it, and the next time I turned my Kindle on the older version was replaced. It's a fairly quick and easy process.

in case you delight in books as much as I do, i think of books, actual surely books, provides you with the main delight. The Kindle sounds great, yet why purchase each and each e book you examine (virtural e book, I mean) once you are able to bypass to a library and not pay a cent? until you're no longer solid approximately returning books).
