her great grand-mother was Martha Morse, and the books about her in ther series are calleed the far side of the loch and the little house in the highlands, on the back of the book it said that martha was the liittle girl who would grow up to be laura ingalls wilder's great-gandmother :)

Mary Ingles? I am not sure who you are referring to. LIW's great-grandmother was Margaret Delano Ingalls up the Ingalls line.

Laura was the second of five children: Mary, who later in her life became blind; Laura; Caroline, whom they called Carrie; Freddy, who died at nine months old, and Grace. Mary was the oldest, Laura's older sister.
