Need help on deciding name for character?

Question

I'm making a story, where the main character is a girl named Aliyah (Meaning: Rising/Ascending)
One small problem..I need a good middle name! I'm running out of ideas. Also, my character Aliyah has an older sister named Aiyana (Eye-Yah-Nah) (Meaning: Forever Flowering/Eternal Blossom) I alos need some middle names for her as well. Here are some I already have been thinking about for Aliyah

Aliyah Rose--Rising/Ascending Rose
Aliyah Jade--Rising/Ascending Gem/Jewel
Aliyah Serenity--Rising/Ascending Peace or Peaceful
Aliyah Nicole--Rising/Ascending Victory
Aliyah Sophia--Rising/Ascending Wisdom
Aliyah Marie--Rising/Ascending Star of the Sea
Aliyah Jasmine--Rising/Ascending Flower
Aliyah Nevaeh--Rising/Ascending Heaven
Aliyah Faith--Rising/Ascending faith
Aliyah Grace--Rising/Ascending Blessing
Aliyah Hope--Rising/Ascending Belief
Aliyah Joy--Rising/Ascending joy

My personal favorite is Aliyah Marie. It really depends on her personality, though, and her place in the story. Aliyah Grace sounds beautiful, too. Her first name seems a bit uncommon to me, so it's good to even it out with a simpler middle name.



As for her sister, I think that Aiyana Sophia sounds nice. "The older, the wiser," you know?



Also, I do think that middle names are important. Even if your readers never know them, shouldn't you?

It's actually not important for you to come up with a middle name for your characters. Unless it's important to your story or you come up with a really good middle name, it's not a problem if your character doesn't have a middle name.
