Don't tell me how to books end though! LOL! I read A Fine Balance, my sister in law gave it to me and said it was her favourite book. The book was good right upto the end, when all ended tragically. I want to read happy ending books. So far, I noticed that all children's books have happy endings and adult books do not. Can you tell me an adult book that ends well?

Max Shulman's Barefoot Boy with Cheek

http://www.worldcat.org/oclc/287725&referer=brief_results

Actually, all of Shulman's humor novels end happily. Usually there is chaos and confusion throughout, but they all end happily. Try Sleep Till Noon, Anyone Got a Match? and Potatoes are Cheaper.

Alexander McCall Smith's Number 1 Ladies' Detective Agency Series books always have a happy, life-affirming ending.

F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby has, if not a happy ending, a just and satisfying ending.

http://www.worldcat.org/oclc/32311616&referer=brief_results

Generally American Literature is happier than European literature -- Mark Twain as positive versus Chekov as sad/tragic.

Hope this helps. Happy reading!

The quandary that many parents end up in is they do not have enough time to find the proper eBook s and learning framework with which to instruct their kiddies but with this program https://tr.im/110pC , Children Learning Reading this issue is arrived at a end.

Children Learning Reading is very extensive, and your child can have number problems assimilating the instructions while the instructions are well-designed. Since the system is founded on phonetics, the educational method is gradual.

In Children Learning Reading program the lessons are distinctive and can not be within other understanding methods.

The Twilight saga is so good, you should check it out. It makes you feel all fuzzy and warm inside and also a bit weepy at the end of the third one (depending on which characters you like).

It is called a young adult book by many but I'm 18 and my mom and my aunties have all read it and they think its awesome too.

The Hunger Game Series Its pretty depressing throughout the way, but an amazing story nonetheless. It has a very happy ending with the boy she's in love with. :) Not giving away any hints.

Hi Silly Rabbit,

I am a Reference Librarian. It will take me a few minutes to answer your question.

I STRONGLY recommend that you look at the summary either on the back of the book or on the inside cover before purchasing any title. Your version of humorous may not be the same as someone else. You can also look at the summaries or reviews online, or even ask a librarian or bookstore salesperson.

I recently finished finished "How I Paid for College; A Novel of Sex, Theft, Friendship, and Musical Theater" and the sequel "Attack of the Theater People" by Marc Acito (my personal favorites)

"Fat Girls and Lawn Chairs" by Cheryl Peck

"Loose Lips" and "Bingo" by Rita Mae Brown

"Meet the Annas" by Robert Dunn

"Skinny Dip" by Carl Hiasson

"Metro Girl" by Janet Evanovich

"Barrell Fever" by David and Amy Sedaris

"I Gave You My Heart, But You Sold It Online" BY Dixie Cash

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" by Douglas Adams

"Bridget Jones Diary" by Helen Fielding

"L'affaire" by Diane Johnson

You should be able to find these titles and hundreds more at your local bookstore or library.

I also suggest www. Librarything.com for some really good suggestions.

Happy Reading!

If you want a classic, try "Wuthering Heights". It's full of romantic mayhem and human pain, but the ending is very happy. I read the book over and over.
