I'm in 8th grade, and I have to do a book report (it's free choice, the teacher just has to approve it).
I am thinking of doing Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie--is that a good choice? I know it's a very famous book and everything but is it hard for someone in 8th grade? If so what are so other good choices

Thanks! 10 points BA

Yes, it's a great book :). No, it's definitely not too hard. I think I started reading Agatha Christie around 8th grade too, and I've been hooked ever since.

Two other great Agatha Christie books, though, that you could choose are And Then There Were None and Death on the Nile. I've read about 10 of her books so far, and those two and Murder on the Orient Express are my favorite three. I think I like those two slightly more than Orient Express, actually, but it is still a great book and definitely a very good choice.

That's an absolutely amazing book! And no, it shouldn't be hard. Although you might not figure out the mystery. But that's what's fun about Agatha Christie --- she keeps you guessing! (If you're really interested in giving an Agatha Christie book a spin that will get you hooked, you might look into the Murder of Roger Ackroyd. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.)

This is a good choice for a book report. I read a lot of Agatha Christie when I was your age. She was an excellent writer and the book is entertaining. If you really like mysteries, it's fun to read her books because I've always enjoyed trying to figure out who the culprit actually is. Good luck and God Bless you!
