which one is better Uglies or Twilight?

I've bin hearing about the book Twilight and I have heard that it's pretty good but for some reason I say that its not and Uglies is better but don't now yet pleas tell me who is better.

Well, I prefer Scott Westerfeld's "Uglies" books. I think they're interesting and well-written. I read them last summer because I'd heard they were good, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that they exceeded my expectations.



No comment on Twilight because I don't like having to roll out the list of why I don't like it. I'll just say that I don't like it.



Really, it's all in personal opinion. I know Uglies appeals to some people more than Twilight, and we all know that Twilight has a monstrosity of a fanbase. I prefer Uglies, though, since you're asking.



In my opinion, though, a good John Green trumps any of these. What a great YA author.

Uglies. If your a girl, you can relate to how Tally feels. I read the Twilight series in January, and I never thought any book could compare to it. Of course, I didn't read any other books till this month. My friend, Nicole, had suggested the Uglies series. So since I was getting super bored, I decided to get it from the library. I read it, and once I finish it I was like 'I have to get Pretties! Now!'. And it only took a few chapters for me to like it better then Twilight. I think you should read both! There both really great, I prefer Uglies over Twilight. Since everyone has different opinions I think you should read both, and see which one you like.

Okay I have read both the Uglies and all the books after it. Then I read Twilight and the books after that. I am in love with Twilight and i only stood the uglies because it seemed okay at the time. But after I read Twilight I realized that it really isn't that good. But that is just me so hope I helped.

i have not read the Twilight series of books nor Uglies, though I can tell you by just reading the first few chapters of twilight it is only a romantic novel and not much else it does not explore the full length of the fantasy genre. I have though heard a lot of good, interesting comments ,on the Uglies.

Lots of people say that Twilight by Stephanie Meyer is great, and I agree, but my older sister reads the Uglies and says they're great too! I'm sure they are both great, but Twilight seems really popular,since now the movie's come out! Hope this helps!

Uglies is much much better.



Tally has character, and she actually struggles through the book. The characters have flaws, they change during the series, and I love the story line. Very original.

i never read the uglies but i read twilight and im inlove with it so im sure i would like twilight better and you should read it lol!
