does anyone still like reading the harry potter books?

i know they have all come out now and we are still waiting on the movies, but does anyone still like to read them? i have read them over and over after they all came out and in my opinion they are the best books ever! does anyone else reread them too?

also, do you agree with me in saying that the books are way better than the movies? i was personally disappointed in some of the movies because there is so much interesting detail in the books that was left out in the movies.

I go back and reread them. There is so much going on that they're never boring. And you're right about the books being better than the movies. The movies look great and they're well cast, but there's so much material in the books that doesn't make it into the movies. "The Prisoner of Azkaban" is my favorite movie and book in the series.

I love the Harry Potter books! I first read all 7 of them in less than 3 weeks and now I'm reading them again.



I think the movies are really disappointing though; they left out way too much detail. It's hard to understand what's going on in the movies unless you've read the books.

I love the harry potter books. I can't even imagine how may times i've read them. I agree that the books are so much better than the movies, but I still enjoy the movies and I'm counting the days until the half-blood prince comes to theaters!

I reread the Deathly Hallows twice in the past month because it is one of the best HP books ever! I've read the whole series at least 3 times too! =P

Of course they do. Kids who are just getting to age nine or ten now won't have read them before.



No, they are not the best books ever. They are good books for preteens and a fun easy read for adults. There's a whole world of adult literature out there which is far, FAR more sophisticated and higher quality.

i still love reading them because it's hard to find books that i enjoy as much as those, but i have found many other books that are almost as enjoyable. i personally love the movies equally with the books. i can't wait until the next movie, it'll probably be with my favorites of the 3rd and 5th.

Yes i LOVE them! i've probably read the series about 20 times lol they're just really well written, theres a reason that they're so big lol! i think the films are god, they did the best they could with the material but the books will always be better, theres more detail, and you can use your imagination! x

a lot of things are missing in the movies but u can catch them only in the books which makes them more interesting.

i like the 7th book more than any other.

no, most people are now into rereading twilight. sorry to sasy [i hate that book and the movie] the only people who ever read them now are people who havnt already read them.though... i think alot of people have forgoten about the movies. really. it took an extra year? everyones thinking about other movies they wanna see. but icant wait for it now that its coming out in a few months
