i'm the same as you, i love stuff like that. :]

i just asked a question a lot like this and got a lot of really great answers so you should go look there too.

you should try out kelley armstrong's women of the otherworld series. it's action packed with all sorts of supernatural beings, but it's not corny at all. there's some romance in it too, some sweet and some more adult.. actually most more adult. but if you don't mind that it's awesome. and it's not overwhelming so yeah. :] and it switches perspectives between different women from book to book [although some do repeat] so it's never boring and you get to 'be' all sorts of different races. :]

also try blood and chocolate.. a werewolf tale [but nothing like the movie...]

i'd suggest twilight but you've got that covered. :D remember the next books coming out august 2nd! :]

have fun. :D

Meg Cabot! She's famous for The Princess Diaries, but I suggest you read:

"1-800-WHERE-R-U" series- When Jess Mastriani sees a picture, she dreams of that person. She uses this ability to find missing children, but often they aren't meant to be found. Sounds stupid, I know, but it is hilarious, suspenseful, and romantic.

"The Mediator"- Suze can sense ghosts as if they were human. Most people can only sense one ghost, but she sees them all and can punch them like they were alive. The first three books are about different ghosts, but the last three focus on the murder of Jesse de Silva. Jesse lives in Suze's bedroom and she falls in love with him. There is another male character, Paul, who is Jesse's rival for Suze's attention in books 4-6.

I would also reccomend:

Why I Let My Hair Grow Out by Maryrose Wood- Morgan is sent to Ireland on a bike tour, where she falls in and out of another time with spells and faeries.

Dark Visions trilogy by L.J. Smith (you'll probably have to order this online)- Five teen psychics spend a year in an institute where their abilities are studied. They quickly learn they are wanted to do more than take tests, so they escape the institute and run for it. The main character, Kait, is torn between the romance with good guy Rob or bad boy Gabriel.

I love Meg Cabot (Heather Well's & Queen of Babble)and Sophie Kinsella's (Shopaholic & Remember Me)books. I am in the process of reading Emily Giffin's (Something Borrowed & Something Blue) books. They are all great authors!

For I teen I recommend Meg Cabot's young adult books. She is the best author. Also best selling. She wrote tons of books including the Princess Diaries (Movies based on her books), Mediator (upcoming movie), 1-800-Missing (TV show based on her books), Jinx, and more. She has adult books too, so you can grow with her.

If you want more info or her website email me.

on the grounds which you assert you in simple terms finished "delight and Prejudice" and enjoyed it, i anticipate you're a quite intellectually mature teenager. That being the case, i think of you're able to do nicely to evaluate authors of classics and their works -- which you're able to have the capacity to get briefs directly to decide if it may be of interest to you. As a teenager I enjoyed George Eliot ( Mary Ann Evans). Her "Silas Marner" grew to become into an extremely touching tale. in case you like character study, you won't be in a position to flow incorrect with Charles Dickens. As a teenager I examine Kenneth Roberts for his historic novels which constantly looked as though it may incorporate a romantic side. 2 of his superb conventional have been "Arundel" and "Northwest Passage." The latter grew to become into made right into a fulfillment action picture "Northwest Passage" starring Spencer Tracy, Robert youthful, and Walter Brennan. in case you like diffused humor and social remark, examine Mark Twain (Samuel Clemens). For a glance at colonial life attempt James Fenimore Cooper's romantic novel "The final of the Mohicans. Use the internet and your English instructor at college for techniques. persist with your pastimes and your interest to steer your analyzing -- they're going to exchange as you mature and that they're going to enhance up your maturation. Your pastimes and interest could take you previous the fantasies of fiction and into the actual worldwide of history, technological know-how, and philosophy. this is to not denigrate fiction -- lots of it has diffused and not-so-diffused messages added in a manner including to symbolize a studying adventure for the reader
