A bit of both computer and handwriting. Right now I'm mainly writing using my computer, but whenever I don't have my computer around, I use my notebook and my favorite pen (yes, I have a favorite pen. It's purple. Stop laughing. Haha.) I prefer to write things down on paper and then move it to computer, but that's not always possible.

I can write WAY faster than I type, so I always start on paper. My ideas come out of my mind so fast that I need to be able to write them down as fast as they come before I forget. Also, if I write I can see what I have crossed out and if I want to then I can go back and develop that into something better. If I type it, it gets deleted for forever and I never get the chance to see it ever again.

I eventually move on to the computer after I have written for a while and can't think of anything else to write. That way I get it done on the computer and in the meantime the writer's block goes away once I reread what I have already written.

I believe that too much is lost in the quick-editing available on the computer, so usually I write on paper all that I want to and when I have that edited, go to the computer to polish it.

The computer-only style makes it too easy to get rid of passages or phrases that might not fit where you wanted originally, but work out great later.

To also be blunt, it makes for a lazy writer who relies too much on spell/grammar checking tools instead of actually learning them.

First draft on paper, then I type it up (often making major changes at that point).

I sometimes write straight onto the computer, but I do a fair bit of writing while sitting around waiting for my kids to do various activities.Paper is a whole lot more convenient for that.

I'm a mix of both. Outlining is always on paper, actual writing starts on paper and ends up on the computer. I'm still learning about myself though, so I might be a paper person that thinks I am a computer person.

Actually, it depends entirely on my mood. While I type more fluently and most of the time with a better vocabulary online (mostly because I can type just as fast as I think up a sentence), I feel more inspired setting pen & ink down...ah, if only I knew calligraphy.

Typewriters are obnoxious as hell, but you can't beat the classics. I'm sure it helps for a noire novel.

me i mostly write all my things on computer.my poetry i write by hand then on the computer.i love writing any good short horror story.i have two books published and am looking to get a third published but that doesn't seem to be working out to well.i love writing though its easy for me to do although my spelling is always horrible so i have to use spell check a lot.i think you have to enjoy doing it in order to be any good at it.

Well, I think of my plot and characters' names and write them by hand. But when it comes to the actual story, I use the computer.

Computer. That way, instead of crossing out all of my mistakes and ending up with a messy paper, I can easily delete and edit my mistakes.

Computer...Microsoft Word. I used to be a paper person, but then I went to college.
