Did Edward Cullen really kill anyone in the Twilight series?

Alright, I need a fan that knows Twilight forwards and backwards. In the movie when Edward and Bella are in the forest, he tells her that he has killed people before. I'm tryinnng to recall if he actually did, or if that is just something in the script. Probably a dumb/pointless question, but it will bother me :]

Yes, he did when he was young - he tried not being a "vegetarian" for a while, he went out on his own and killed criminals.

In the books...yes he has. Being a newborn, all vampires are expected to slip up and have a taste of human blood. Gorgeous Edward Cullen is no exceptionto that rule. But if you've read the fourth book, Breaking Dawn, Bella turns out to be a surprising exception.

As a first born vampire, edward killed many people, because he was still a newborn, and was not in control. Then, realizing his wrongs, and understanding he couldn't become a "vegetarian" by him self, he used his special mind reading power to determine if people were "bad guys" or people who had done terrible wrong in the past and didn't deserve to live, and he fed on them, this way he was getting his "food", and he felt like he was doing the world good. Then Carisle (spelled wrong, I know) helped him learn to feed on animals, not humans. There you go!!! I am a complete and total fan of the twilight series, and I own the movie.

lol, well yes he has killed people before, but he only kills the scumbags of the world, and will track them down and kill them if they are disrupting the peace, and putting people in harms way, or endangering other people. But other than that, he simply kills animals.



He will usually make it look like the person just simply dissapeared, but actually the person was killed by Edward.



Even just killing scumbags, or criminals, he still feels really bad. Because he thinks he is going against everything Carlisle has built their family to be.

Back in Edward's past, he left Carlisle, when he'd been a vampire for around ten years. He used his mind reading abilities to only feed off of bad people, but yes, he has killed people.

Then in Eclipse, Edward kills Victoria, but she was already dead technically.

He killed a lot of people. I think somewhere in the series it says he killed 500. I am not sure though. He killed because as a new vampire he couldnt control his urge to stay away.

according to the book (newborns) as in newly created vampires need blood so maybe when he was (Young) he killed a few people. the other books say that it is hard to run away from the blood (temptation) i just finished the last book... very interesting
