Is this an interesting story?

Question

Since I'm almost done with my first story/cartoon, I thought I could make a second one! Well, I decided on a second one when I was drawing and I liked a design I came up with :D Here's the story:
There are 8 sorcerer's among this land. Each one wields the power of one of the elements:
- Blazing fire
- Shivering ice
- Fearless earth
- The Sprinting electric
- Venomous poison
- Nightmare of the dark
- Luscious physic
- Loyal Dragon
7 of these elements were given to 7 chosen students. There is one that hasn't been chosen yet. Her name is Maracel. She has been chosen to wield the last element: Dragon. It's not an easy element though. The dragon element contains a power far beyond the others combined. They believe she is destined to wield it...
So the story is about Maracel and that she learns how to use her element. The others are like her. They're just starting out :) What do you think? Is this an interesting story?

Yes, it seems were interesting... I like the ideas of Venomous Poison and Nightmares of the Dark. Nice names. I would love to read this since I'm interested in powers and stuff...

Actually I was worried from the offset that this might be a little cliché but it actually hooked my interest. I'd be interested to see where this goes.
