I got Angels & Demons at an Airport a year or so ago as I had nothing else to read. The 3 hour flight flew (no pun intended) as I couldn't lift my head from the book. Bought Da Vinci Code, Digital Fortress & Deception Point as soon I got home and also read those cover to cover in less than a week. Brown has a knack of capturing the readers attention and not letting go until the final page. Cannot wait for Angels & Demons the movie. Allegedly out in January 2008

Yes, it is a great book and better in my opinion than The Da Vinci Code, which in itself is a very good book. You should try Dan Brown's other books too if you haven't already, although Angels and Demons is by far the best the other books are definitely well worth a read.

I greatly enjoyed it too. If you haven't already, be sure to read Dan Brown's "The Da Vinci Code" also. Another author I would suggest is Arturo Perez-Reverte. "The Flanders Panel" and "The Club Dumas" have the same sort of mystery puzzle style as "The Da Vinci Code." If you like that aspect of it, you might also like Katherine Neville's works such as "The Eight" or Umberto Eco's works such as "The Name of the Rose." Reviewers have taken to saying that Neville, Eco, and Brown make a trio of good reading. If you like one of those authors, you will probably like the other two. Some other books you might like are "The Dante Club" and "The Poe Shadow" by Matthew Pearl and "The Rule of Four" by Ian Caldwell and Dustin Thomason. All of these books basically follow the same theme of a race to solve a puzzle by following scattered clues and they are all very well written.

I actually liked Angels and Demons better than Davinci Code. Try reading Deception Point by Brown it's one of his best.

After reading the Da Vinci code none of his other books were very good. They follow exactly the same plot line, but without the well worked out historical references, and thus the villain is predictable almost from page one let alone the outcome.

Personally, I prefered the Da Vinci Code. Don't get me wrong, they are both amazingly thrilling books to read, but there was something about The Da Vinci Code that caught me.

He is a great writer, no matter what anyone says.

Yes it is a great read.

The only thing with his books though, is that they all follow the same pattern and are quite similar in style.

Read 'Digital Fortress' after reading 'Da Vinci Code' and 'Angels and Deman's' and you'll get the feeling you've read it before...

I loved that book. I finished the Davinci Code and was looking for something else by Dan Brown and picked it up. I recommended it to all my friends and even bought it for my mother for Christmas that year. I thought it was more suspenseful than Davinci.

I have actually read it three times and STILL enjoyed it each time. I thought it was absolutely fantastic - got to be one of the best written.

Read The Da Vinci Code - thought it was ok but Digital Fortress was dire - was disappointed.

I enjoyed it as well.... I thought it was very interesting and written intelligently but easy to read. I never understood why the DiVinci code was the one picked for best seller and movie.... Angels and Demons was better!

I enjoyed all of Dan Brown's books. EXCEPT for The Da'Vinci Code, which was a load of c##p and the film even worse.

The Illuminati does in fact exist, but the NWO theories surrounding them are false. There is no way Jay-Z and Beyonce could run the world.

Really enjoyed the book, but thought the bit about him falling out of the helicopter was very improbable

I think it was a good book, fun to read, very interesting but if it's one of the best books you've ever read, you need to read more.

That book is brilliant, definetly one of his best.

The Da Vinci Code of course was brilliant too, but I much prefer this book ,there is a lot more excitement.
