Question:
I need a title for my novel?

It's very dramatic. I can't think of any titles. A plot is down below. And by the way, this will be published in 1-3 months because it is almost finished, so don't try to copy the plot.

It's all in the view of seven girls, all in high school. Six of the seven have boyfriends. There is a drug addiction/problem in the background of the book. But basically the girls are having issues with their relationship because of others trying to take their man and the drugs that sometimes blind them. Because each girl is so rebellious and blunt, they are sexually active (please don't freak out, it all comes together I promise you!) Some of the couples break up, some cheat, some do a lot of completely stupid things.

Thanks so much. <3

I, personally, don't understand why these answers are so sarcastic. This person has asked for help and you are poking fun. That is rude and somewhat mean. As for my answer, most books that have one word for a title usually does a bit better, I don't know why, but they do. So I suggest doing something like...

Missteps

Untrustworthy

Single

Or you could take a few choice words of your favorite title and either change the language or use a different antonym. Hope this helps!

Why hasn't your book editor suggested some titles by now? Having no title 1-3 months before the publishing deadline is not giving your publisher much time to publicize your novel. Book titles usually give a hint of something important in the plot or based on a major character.

If you haven't even thought of a title, I get the feeling that this story has not gone through the editing stage.

And if it hasn't been edited and looked at by a third party, I highly doubt anyone would want to publish it.

"Pretty maids all in a row," from the old Mother Goose ryme leaps immediately to mind, and so does, "Seven Sisters," but unfortunately both have been used. Since you've already got a publisher lined up (lucky you!), your editor might have some suggestions. Good luck.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA just because your book is almost finished doesn't mean you're going to be published in 1-3 months. Anyway, if it's almost done, pull the title from the body of your text.

Rush Together.

It's the name of a Quietdrive song, so I'm not sure if you can use it, but I thought of it instantly. Rush, as in the high of the drugs, and Together as in couples.

'Seven turns into One' your plot sounds very 'fight club' similar.

Good luck with your story, if you pick my title.. will you tell me, would be nice as, I've just given this one to you for free, and I feel it has legs.

(Sigh.) Seriously, you can come up with 300 pages or so of spellbinding text, and you can't come up with 1-7 words for a title?

Just pick a few really memorable lines and see if you can derive anything intriguing and relevant from them.

What Happened to Us? (Idk how it goes, but I take it from the perspective that they are all friends and they all fall apart... That's the title of the book, not another question.)

"The Cartel"?

idk i tried. The paragraph doesnt really speak to me in the way of clever names.

You could always go the safe route and base it off the name of the high school.

What kind of names were you thinking.
