I need help coming up with a name for a country/nation in the short story I'm writing for class. It has to be sci-fi/fantasy and this is not exactly my forte, being that I usually write romances and stories about friendship (and the like) so you can imagine that this has been really nagging at me all day.

I need help coming up with the name for my story's imaginary kingdom. I'd prefer something that ends in -on (like Eragon, Ahrgon, Incarceron, etc.) I haven't really come up with none so I'm hoping you guys can help me come up with something (or at least help so I can get my creative juices flowing)

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much to all who can help!

Here's what I do: I like to think about an ancient city, that I want my city to be similar too and then modify the name. You already know you want it to end in -on, so you could go and find an ancient city that your kingdom is like, online, then change a few letters and end it in -on, if it's still not right you use latin words, or greek words, that mean something that has to do with your kingdom and modify them slightly or leave them as is.

%. names that are something alongside the lines of what they characterize. Machines: The Makaneek u . s . (Like machanic, or equipment). The syllables and hard consonant of "ok" sound industrialized and unnatural. Farmers: The Agrasso u . s . - Agriculture and grass/wheat fields. The tender g and the 'ess' sound are very pastorial and sound like a u . s . it truly is one with nature. Megiddo is the position the Bible says Armageddon will take position. Have a acceptance that performs off that, like Medigo, or Armah-Gedo. sturdy success
