Which team are you on? Edward Cullen or Jacob Black?

For those who are Team Jacob I just want to know why. Personally I am Team Edward and I just wanted to know what makes you think Jacob is better for Beaal than Edward.

Because Jacob is funny. Jacob is laidback. Jacob is loyal. Jacob is hot. Jacob is warm. Jacob is caring. Jacob is sweet, in his own way. But mostly because Jacob is *human*.



The vampire lifestyle is a horrid fate. Rosalie is totally right on that one-- it's not the way to live. No one should *choose* to live that way. Drinking blood? Living forever? Never sleeping, never eating real food, never being able to stop existing? It's just... not good. It's horrible. I don't want that fate for Bella. I think being a vampire sounds just plain terrible.



Her life with Jacob seems better to me. He can give her sooo much that Edward can't-- children, the chance to get older, and in time, death. He doesn't take anything away from her-- not her parents, not her friends, not her ability to be around people. If she becomes a vampire and goes with Edward, she has to give all that up. No children. No getting older. No dying. No parents. No friends. No being around people. No human experiences. With Edward, she has NO FUTURE. I value humanity; I value human experiences. I value living a normal life. Love is the most important thing in life; but there are other things you should get to experience as a human. And Edward just can't give those things to her. There are gaps he can't fill. Jacob can.



In Eclipse, Jacob tells Bella he is the healthier choice for her. He tells her Edward is like a drug to her, and that he is like the sun. I firmly believe and agree with that-- In the long run, I think Jacob is the best choice.



And then there's the fact that I completely hate Edward. I think he is manipulative, extreme, over-protective, paranoid, old fashioned, romantic, and a total control freak-- the worst kind of guy imaginable, in my opinion. I don't like romance... I don't like it when guys say "cute" things to me. Jacob is romantic occassionally, but not nearly as much as Edward. I don't like old fashioned guys. I don't like control freaks. I don't like guys who worry about me constantly. I don't like that Edward won't let Bella do ANYTHING. I am a very independent person, so being so protected would bother me. Bella hardly ever gets to make her own choices-- Edward makes them for her, or Bella has to sneak and run away to do what she wants (I'm referring to the fact she had to sneak way to see Jake during Eclipse).And another thing that annoys me about Edward is that he rubs off as so perfect-- men like him don't exist. His character is SO unrealistic. Boys like him don't, never have, and never will exist. Perfect guys don't exist. His flawlessness bothers me. Part of being human is making mistakes and having flaws... flaws are part of life. Perfection is unachievable and boring. I don't want someone perfect. I would rather be alone than be with someone perfect. The fact that Jacob *isn't* perfect makes his love all the more appealing to me-- he knows he has a slim chance of winning, but he tries anyway. But at the same time, I agree with what Jacob told Bella... Bella needs to wake up and realize that Edward isn't "as perfect as she thinks he is". Part of the reason he rubs off as so perfect is because of the way Bella portrays him. Something about Edward just really, really bothers me-- it always has. Even before I read New Moon and Eclipse and Jacob came into the picture, I disliked Edward. I didn't like him in Twilight at all. I really, honestly, and truly hate him. I've never liked him.



Edward is just not the kind of guy I want. I would go insane with someone like him. Jacob fits my personality a whole lot better. He's just so lovable... I can't help but love him. I don't understand why people hate him. As far as I'm concerned, he's the only even semi realistic character (excepting Bella). He's the only one with character development-- we see him go from a gangly 15 year old to a 17-year-old-in-a-25-year-old-body-and-mindframe type of guy. And I can't understand why people like Edward-- the only positive thing I see about him is that he's intelligent. Outside of that, I don't see anything remotely appealing about him whatsoever.



I like Bella's character a lot more when she's with Jake. When she's with Edward, she has an inferiority complex. She's either ogling about how gorgeous he is, or saying she's not good enough/pretty enough/too plain for Edward. Whining about how she needs to be a vampire. She doesn't get to make her own choices... Edward controls her. Whatever Edward does, she does (Renee tells Bella she's like a "satellite" to him). When she's with Jake she seems happier to be Bella. She's not always complaining about not being "good enough". She seems more relaxed. More content. She just seems *better* with Jacob. She seems happier to be herself.



And I think Jacob is a whole lot more exciting than Edward is. I prefer the werewolves... they are more my sense of my humor. And vampires suck, in my opinion.



That's why I'm Team Jacob.

But we team Jacob don't say nasty things about Edward. We just like to say all of Jacob's great qualities.



We don't hate Edward and we also think that Jacob and Bella are not right for each other because obviously Bella loves Edward but please stop saying nasty things about Jacob. He's really a great character...

Team Edward by far! I love Edward. Jacob just isnt right for Bella. He's a good guy and all but not right for her. Edward knows exactly what Bella wants. He is sweet and sensative and has her best interests in mind. I love Edward Cullen to death! (no pun intended) lol

I agree with Meganite. Everything she said although I don't hate Edward.



I am SO DEFINITELY TEAM JACOB all the way!



This is why: Jacob is such a loyal, caring, loving, great boy. He is such a good friend to Bella but all Bella did to him was use him again and again and break his heart.



Some prefer Jake because he is warm. Not like Edward.



Jacob is human, and there is SO MUCH he can give and do with Bella that Edward can't, because he will hurt her and kill her. With Edward, Bella has NO FUTURE. The only future she has with Edward is drinking blood and becoming a disgusting parasite. GROSS.



While with Jake, she can have a happy human life, She doesn't have to change or sacrifice anything just to be with Jacob. Jacob can give her so much, a family, children, and pure happiness. Jacob's love for Bella is more raw and pure. And he isn't perfect. He makes mistakes, has his own imperfection, making him all the more perfect for Bella.



It's so heartbreaking that Jacob always has to have the sad ending. A horrible ending in New Moon. A much more terrible one in Eclipse. When oh when will he finally find his happily ever after?



It is kinda annoying some people only hate him because of Edward's "hotness" and perfection. When I read the 3 books all I have to read about is how sweet his skin smells, how marble his chest is, how white his skin is, how cold his lips are, all physical! And, Bella also described Jake as a "very pretty face all in all" and "sort of beautiful" in the books, anyway. But Jacob isn't always described physically in the books. Bella knows him inside and out. Yes, Bella realized she's in love with him too, but she doesn't realize YET how truly and how really and how deeply she feels for him. She only realizes she's in love with him, but not how deepy, truly or really. I hope that's what she realizes in Breaking Dawn.



Don't get me wrong, Edward is sweet too, but slightly very overprotective. And it's kinda very controlling, manipulative and a bit abusive.



When Bella's with Jake, she is "free". She makes her own decisions, unlike when she's with Edward. Edward MAKES her make decisions which arent her own.



And do you like how light, weightless and easygoing Bella's personality is when she's with Jacob? Jacob can joke and she can have a laugh with him, but Edward just acts too maturely and too seriously about everything.



The main reason I'm on Jacob's team is because he is human. Period. He can make Bella happy, and he is the healthier choice for her. He isn't controlling, like Edward, and Bella has a happy human future with Jacob, family and children and love and all.....*sigh* If only Jacob and Bella could be together, if they did end up together, I'd be so happy I'd have tears of joy and I will be jealous of Bella....in a good way. I will be so happy for her. But if she chose Edward, I'd cry because of resentment and because it is the wrong choice for her. Humanity is very golden. We are all so lucky to have a life. But Bella--she chose Edward above all of this. *sigh* I think she made a wrong choice. I really hope she ends up with Jacob.



And it was mentioned that if the vampires never existed, then werewolves would never exist. If Edward Anthony Masen died in 1918 like he was supposed to, then there would be no more mystery and magic and creatures from horror movies in Bella's world. If the world was the sane place it was supposed to be, Jacob and Bella would be together. And they would've been happy. Jacob was the natural path Bella's life would have taken. They were really meant to be. That is what WOULD have been. And it's so sad. I could just cry right now.





I mean, think about it. About Bella. She has SO MUCH that she is going to give up, just for Edward?

well i'm more team jacob, but it seemed kinda messed up that they both love each other but they can't be together. but for bella, edward because they just fit. i really don't know now because he just became so distant and he can't seem to love someone properly without being "depressing" and putting everything on his shoulders.. jacob on the other hand has a problem with accepting, but he could give bella his full attention. i think though that for the story's sake that ms. meyer will make her be with edward.

but i really would love for bella to be cut out. she's such a sill and immature girl. i think jake and edward should dump her and get together.lol go slash!! but i wish they could both get someone who likes them individually, because bella is so two faced!

ok, after interpreting the e book i become SO in love with Edward and when I heard Robert become going to play him i become very lots disappointed. I thot he become soo gruesome and could not do Edward justice. After the action picture besides the shown fact that i thot he become actually beautiful. Jacob is warm too, i prefer them the two. i think of inspite of the undeniable fact that that Edward become warmer than Jacob. <3
