It's likely personal opinion whether they're classic or not. Both are on my bookshelves designated for the kids. In my opinion, they're wonderful classic stories for those under the age of 12.

Both stories are classics, but these two books listed seem to be modifed versions of the original novels.

The STORIES themselves are classics. The books, I haven't read, but as the stories have been republished in them, these can be considered classics.
