Hello

I am looking for a particular book but I am struggling to find it.
The book is called The Vampire Mistress and it was written by Elizabeth Caroline Gray. It was written in 1828 so I am not looking for an original, just a copy. I would like to use it for my English Language coursework as a comparative against Stephanie Meyer's Twilight. I am doing the deformalisation of English language in Literature.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. I have already tried high street book stores, Amazon and a generic Google search for old books.

its available on Amazon for a penny in a book called Vampire Omnibus edited by Peter Haining , in its other name The Skeleton Count..

this other link is from http://www.simplysupernatural-vampire.com/vampire-characteristics-preDracula.html

Elizabeth Caroline Grey: The Skeleton Count, or The Vampire Mistress (1828) is a hard to find story. It offers:

A female vampire

Women and children victims

A vampire created by sorcery

She can go out in daylight

Prefers to hunt for victims between 9:00 PM and Midnight

Vampires can be killed by staking and burning

She is staked into her coffin, deteriorates, and is reburied.

She is in a "natural" state when she is raised as a vampire, with "natural" meaning childlike/animal-like/unrestrained

Copies come and go. It may be found in a book called The Vampire Omnibus1857976843. It mostly ships out of the UK and I note the occasional copy on Amazon and Abe Books.

it truly is purely about absolutely unlawful. (you would possibly want to attempt to argue that it truly is "straightforward use" -- a doctrine which helps some copying, and that is determined on a case through case foundation utilising distinct aspects, which contain how a lot is copied, how major the copied fabric is to the e book it fairly is copied, and for what objective it truly is copied. (tutorial applications matches in right here. yet i imagine copying each of the homework pages might want to fantastically obviously no longer characterize straightforward use.) the subsequent question is -- in case you do not favor to purchase a used replica, or won't be able to discover one -- do you want to replica the pages besides even if if it truly is unlawful? there are quite some unlawful issues finished universal -- it truly is unlawful topersistent speedier than the speed decrease, it truly is unlawful to jaywalk, unlawful for a school student less than 21 to drink alcohol (in maximum places). you're not any further going to get stuck, so that you want to ask your self how major it truly is to you to adhere to the regulation, and no matter if there are different moral motives you would favor no longer to replica the pages (human beings copying the pages drives up the cost for others, it truly is ripping off an author and writer, and if sufficient do it, it will be not ordinary to discover publishers and authors keen to create textbooks, etc.) i in my opinion don't have a tremendous looking good opinion about what you should do in this social gathering.
