Hi, I'm looking for a book for teen reading. I'm interested in reading books that deal with teenage issues eg high school and growing up and things like that.

Do you have any suggestions?

These are my favorites:

Identical - Ellen Hopkins

Burned - Ellen Hopkins

Crank - Ellen Hopkins

Glass - Ellen Hopkins

13 Reasons Why - Jay Asher

Dreamland - Sarah Dessen

Just Listen - Sarah Dessen

You Don't Know Me - David Klass

I know there's more, but these are the ones off the top of my head. If you go to

http://www.amazon.com/gp/search/ref=sr_nr_n_14?rh=i%3Astripbooks%2Cn%3A!1000%2Cn%3A28%2Cn%3A17496&bbn=28&ie=UTF8&qid=1258092910&rnid=28

and then scroll down. These are all the teen books that deal with Social Issues like dating issues, drugs, gangs, high school. If you go to the side, you can choose the category you want...

Good luck and happy reading! :D

You would love Excellence: Sons of Xavier Forever by George Brennan, Jr.

This is a true story about the author surviving the pressures of his teen years while also surviving the pressures of an all boy, Catholic, military school in New York City. It is very funny, uplifting and the characters are endearing.

I just found this site earlier today actually, it may not help exactly but then again it might. You could look and find a book you like and either get it from a library or online.
