Jaden Cruz is an ordinary 16 year old school boy. After spending all his life in a boarding school, he transfers to a day school to look after his aunt ( his only family) who is ill. He loves adventures, but sadly has never been a part of one.But he still hopes that one day something would make his life interesting.When Jade is on his way to his school on the 1st day, a couple of thieves try to steal from him. But he beats them up, displaying remarkable skill in martial arts and combat training. This is no surprise to him because he had learnt all there is to know about fighting in his boarding school.
After about 2 days,he finds a bunch of guys in suits waiting for him in his house when he returns fron school. These guys keep asking things like "where have you been?" and "are you okay?" and they keep calling him Adrian .But Jade is sure he has never seen them before.
These guys never leave him alone and so one day, unable to control his frustration he complains to the police.But, as soon as he starts talking, the Head Police comes and takes him away. the next thing he knows, he is in a huge office staring at a mean-looking guy.
This guy scolds him for acting so stupid and tells him that the Head Police was a part of their "organisation" too. When Jade tells him he does not know anthing and asks him to leave him alone, the guy staring laughing. Later, he understands that this "organisation" called the MIST(military intelligence supreme taskforce) mistake him to be one of their spies called Adrian who went missimg. They take him for a DNA test and mysteriously it is a perfect match. Since he has no choice, he puts up with this mistake because it was sort of like an adventure which he always hoped for. But he does not get how his DNA was a match.
Adrian's enemies also star chasing jade thinking he is him.In this mess, and his aunt is killed.He is devastated and having had enough he wants to escape the mess.
Then, Violet( a girl from MIST who he befriends) who is the only one who believes that Jade is not Adrian tells him that someone must have changed all the info in the database and that this is the reason the DNA matched . And that the only way to prove he isnt Adrian is to find him and also find the cheat who changed the data.But she dosent tell him how she knows that heis not Adrian.
So, Jade sets out to find the real Adrian. But this becomes extremely difficult because both MIST and Ian's enemies are after him the whole time. Somehow, using his traing in the boarding school.When he is about to give up on the hopeless mission, he gets a message from a guy claiming to be Adrian.
When they finally meet, Jade begins to feel increasingly uneasy. But the enemies and MIST also catch up and the enemies shoot Jade and kill ADrian. But, just before dying, he tells jade that they are brothers and that he is not who he thinks he is. He also keeps telling that "the VIPERS knew".
Jade passes out and later finds himself in his house(MIST save him). He realises Adrian was telling the truth and that someone has wiped his memory and put in false ones.
MIST recruit him as a spy after seeing the remarkable way in which he found the reak Adrian. But he does not tell them about Adrian's last words yet.
By this time, Violet had manaded to find out the guy who changed the data- a cheif security officer.When they interogate him, he shouts- " This is just the beginning" and commits suicide.
Some of Jade's memories come back to him, but only very few. So, he sets out to find who he was, Who did this to him and why and figure out who the VIPERS are. Also, he is determined to avenge his bro's death....
So, what would be an appropriate name for my book???
