Ok so I'm starting another story just for fun over the summer. I kind of have the main plot down, but I'm stuck on some names for characters... The story takes place in a small town in northern Michigan on lake Michigan over the summer. Basically, the main character is a 16 year old girl, her family immigrated from a country but they are not allowed to tell her where yet (Because they worked for the Lithuanian gov. on a failed secret project), and a boat with a drunk driver crashes into her bedroom one night and she is taken to the hospital with multiple serious injuries...

The main characters name is going to be Gwendolyn (Gwen) Walker, but her real name is Ona (like ah-nah)... What do you think? what should she look like? What color hair, eyes, tall or short, personality, etc.

The last thing I need is a name for a 16 year old boy. His family has just moved into the small town in Michigan, he falls in love with Gwen the first day he meets her, his little sister (Vera) gets hit by a car and shares a hospital room with Gwen, so he gets to spend time with them both... I kind of liked the name Milo, but Im open to any suggestions... what should I name him? (Hes blond, tall, shy but very nice)... Please answer my questions and thank you so much!

I like the idea of using the Lithuania flag Yellow-Top, Green-Middle, and Red-Bottom; as your guide, blonde hair, green eyes, and bright red lips, also pale skin. She should be tall and very religious, so when her parents secrets come out they will be in direct conflict of her beliefs.

You should also make it where she'll have a scar from the boating accident, something that's really noticeably and she's always trying to cover it up but yet everybody already knows about anyway. It would be something that would weigh heavy on heart.

I really like the name Milo as well, you should stick with it, but I would change his hair to black because when I hear the name Milo I automatically think of dark hair.

Boy Name:

Emery (Brave, Powerful) (German)

Maddox (Good, Generous, Benefactor's Son) (Welsh)

Silas (Forest, Woods) (Latin) (s(i)-las, SYE-las)

Hezekiah (God Gives Strength, Yahweh Strengthens) (Hebrew)

Gabriel (Able-bodied One of God) (Hebrew, Biblical) (Short Form Gabe)

Quinn (Counsel, Descendant of Con, Connotations for Intelligence) (Irish, Gaelic)

As for the girl if she is originally from Lithuania then she will have a european look about her. When I think of Gwendolyn (Gwen) I see a petite girl with shoulder length straw or Golden colored hair and emerald or sapphire colored eyes, with Olive complexion. As for personality that is all you. You have to think hard about her. Here is what I think of her. She will most likely have a more structured up bringing because her parents are from Europe they are more structured than Americans. She will be more out going with her friends than at home. She will be a little shy until she gets to know people well. Funny, smart, like able personality. Doesn't hold grudges, carefree, grabs life with both hands.

Hope this helps. - Cass

So I have two ideas for Gwen:

Tall and thin, long platinum/silver blonde hair with a dark peakaboo. ice blue eyes, and pale to light tanned skin.

Or

Tall and average to thin weight, long layered dark brown hair that is choppy around the face and swooping bangs, deep forest green eyes, tanned skin.

Both I picture as smart and witty with familial insecurities. Also, she should have a nervous habit like twirling her hair or biting her nails, clicking her tongue, snapping, etc.

For the boy I think a good combinationw with both Gwen and Vera would be Steven. Vera could call him Stevie or he could go by Even (Evan).

Good luck! :D

Boy: Barry Harris(sounds like an actor or something!)

Girl:This bouncy woman has wide brown eyes that are like two drops of chocolate. Her fine, straight, golden hair is worn in a style that reminds you of a waterfall. She is short and has a lithe build. Her skin is light-colored, and she has a wide forehead. Her wardrobe is stylish, yet no-nonsense, with a sky blue color scheme.

Ona/Gwen should have medium length wavy brown hair, with hazel/green eyes, about 5'5", and she should be very smart (but not a bookworm, just smart my nature), and extremely compassionate. but she'll have a hard time opening up to people because she's insecure and confused.

This guy should be named:

Luke

Wes

Holden

Kennedy

Noah

Griffin

Try www.storyjoin.com It allows you to collaborate with other members and write stories together. You start by writing 1 paragraph to as many as you want and any uncompleted paragraph(s) will get completed by other members. It's cool to see how the story ends.
